I was watching this online

She says that she doesn't believe they are appropriate. I can't see whyever not? I just changed colleges this year, and so I've only known everyone here for all of 2 months, and so obviously when comes the time to send out the invites, I can't. That doesn't mean that by February I won't be close enough to 2-3 people to invite them -- and I might even make a very good friend.
I don't see where she gets off saying that it's inappropriate.
What do you think?
