OPRAH!!!!

Oprah will be taping a show here in Macon and I am soooo excited! I have already gone on her website and filled out a request to get picked to be in the audience! You had to write in 2000 words or less why you want to go to her show!!! She is doing a tour of "small towns" all over the U.S. and she picked Macon as one of her stops! Keep your fingers crossed for me!

Oh, that gave me a good giggle!! Kaelie was telling me today that Santa called her Mom and told her what a big girl she was growing up to be. Santa must be in the air!!

As for Oprah, I think it is so neat that she is coming to your town. I hope you get to go see her!!

Well it made front page news for the past 3 days here so EVERYONE found out about it ... but all the other towns are listed on her website.

GOOD LUCK! I don't normally watch her show, but I did watch it yesterday about the power couples. They just about every other ad talked about the small town tour she is doing.

I never get to watch Oprah anymore :(
when I was preggers i used to sit on the couch all a.m. long and watch Oprah, Jerry Springer (LOL), and that show where a bunch of women lived under 1 roof trying to fix their situations (can't remember name) anyway gettin off track here but Oprah is awesome.

She came to my city (Tulsa) on a surprise trip last summer...she started crashing weddings. She'd go to the reception and just say hi. :bblol:

Well, she gave the couple here a wedding gift - a set of plates that cost like $200. When I saw that on the news, I thought "how cheap of her!" LOL!

I'd personally be ticked off if she crashed my wedding. It'd go from OUR day to "that one day Oprah came to town." :rain:

(Then again, I'm pretty anti-Oprah...but still...it's MY day, dang it! Hehe!)
