Funny!

I Can Relate I Am In That Mode Now, I Want A Baby, But I Know Its Best If He And I Wait... It Would Be The "responsible" Thing.

Fh And I Were Texting Back And Forth The Other Day It Went Something Like This (sorry If I Had Told This Already I Dont Remember) We Had Been Talking About Babies...
Fh- So When Do You Want To Get Started On That?
Me- May 29. 2009 (day After The Wedding)
Fh- Thats A Long Time Away
Me- If You Want To Put The Cart Before The Horse Thats Fine With Me.
Fh- I Want To Be With The Horse While Making The Cart!
Me- I Hate You!

The End.
He Cracks Me Up!

I have two major wants with my fiance

* Have babies with him
* Have romantic, sexy evenings and getaways with him

Unfortunately, these two seem to be mutually exclusive. :(

I am the SAME way!!! I thought I was repgo last month, I was 5 days late and about ready to take a test when BAM monthly visitor comes..now this month I either have the flu or I am knocked up! But now I am starting to think maybe I should wait until right after the wedding or maybe in two years after the wedding. I sure don't know if I want to get all uncomfortable in our first year of our marriage!

We will see!!!

ETA: Oh and we are using the very firm solid birth control form of pull out and pray! So bascially anything is possible :)

I do too. Babies are everywhere around me but I want to have my wedding first. I will be an aunt in the next 2 weeks so I hope it hold me over for the next 9 months until I can get married and have one of my own.

That was our thoughts.... but we want to have a big family, either have 4.. or have 2 and adopt 2. And I DO NOT want to get pregnant after 30. Sooo.... I'm thinking we need to get started within a year...

I have always said that I wanted to start having babies when I turn 30 --- 5 years from now. That plan still suits me for now ... I think I wanna just be selfish and have my hubby all to myself for a little while after we are married... then I will share him with some babies!

See I feel that way too. We just got a dog... and there are nights, when I wish we hadn't b/c I just wanna relax with my hubby! But then, I get these urges to be pregnant. I'm hoping it is just all the pregnancy around me, and that it will fade in a few months.

the only reason I won't after 30, is b/c I am considered high risk b/c I get ovarian cysts... and the dr's say it is best for me before 30.

yah, right before we got engaged he and i thought about starting a family first. Then we got engaged, the wedding started taking up my time and i found my dress (well i found 2) so everytime i strted to get baby fever after that i started thinking "NOPE I WANT TO FIT NICELY INTO MY BIG WHITE DRESS!!!!' HEHEHE :)
now thats what keeps me remembering "no baby bumps until after the wedding" heheh

We talk about it all the time. His side of the family is really religious so I don't want to make them upset by having a baby before marriage. I guess 8 months till the wedding isn't bad to wait. It'll be here before I know it. I can't wait!!!!!!! I love pregnant women....they are so cute. Just wishing I was one but for right know I guess we have to hold that thought....bummmmmerrrrrr.

I want kids! But i want to wait till i'm closer to 30 (if Dani's hubby stops being a stick in the mud, i want to have kids round the same time as her..) and have more $$. I don't want to be struggling to feed and cloth them if i don't have to.. I don't think it'd be fair if i could have the chance to wait and make life a bit better, first. *^^*

So true neko... money is another issue that we are struggling with.. hopefully I can get into clinicals and then get a job and make more money by the time we decide to actually have a kid. I do know that FH is wanted to try after we get married and wants to start about 3mths after we marry... ahhh... I can't wait!

K ladies .... the following tests are meant to help you decide if you are ready to have kids. If you can pass all the tests ..... g'head and make a baby :)

I also suggest that you print it out and on your child's 20th birthday, read it again. LOL You will be surprised at just how accurate these tests are -

MESS TEST
Smear peanut butter on the sofa and curtains. Place a fish stick behind the couch and leave it there all summer.

TOY TEST
Obtain a 55 gallon box of Legos (or you may substitute roofing tacks). Have a friend spread them all over the house. Put on a blindfold. Try to walk to the bathroom or kitchen. No screaming allowed, as this would wake a child at night.

GROCERY STORE TEST
Borrow one or two small animals (goats are best) and take them with you as you shop. Always keep them in sight and pay for anything they eat or damage.

DRESSING TEST
Obtain one large, unhappy, live octopus. Stuff into a small net bag making sure that all the arms stay inside.

FEEDING TEST
Obtain a large plastic milk jug. Fill halfway with water. Suspend from the ceiling with a cord. Start the jug swinging. Try to insert spoonfuls of soggy cereal into the mouth of the jug, while pretending to be an airplane. Now dump the contents of the jug on the floor.

NIGHT TEST
Prepare by obtaining a small cloth bag and fill it with 8-12 pounds of sand. Soak it thoroughly in water. At 3:00p.m. begin to waltz and hum with the bag until 9:00p.m. Lay down your bag and set your alarm for 10:00p.m. Get up, pick up your bag, and sing every song you have ever heard. Make up about a dozen more songs and sing these too until 4:00a.m. Set alarm for 5:00a.m. Get up and make breakfast. Keep this up for 5 years. Look cheerful.

INGENUITY TEST
Take an egg carton. Using a pair of scissors and pot of paint, turn it into an alligator. Now take a toilet paper tube and turn it into an attractive Christmas candle. Use only scotch tape and a piece of foil. Last, take a milk carton, a ping-pong ball, and an empty box of Cocoa Puffs. Make an exact replica of the Eiffel Tower.

AUTOMOBILE TEST
Forget the BMW and buy a station wagon. Buy a chocolate ice cream cone and put it in the glove compartment. Leave it there. Get a dime. Stick it into the cassette player. Take a family size package of chocolate chip cookies. Mash them into the back seat. There, perfect!

PHYSICAL TEST (Women)
Obtain a large beanbag chair and attach it to the front of your clothes. Leave it there for 9 months. Now remove 10 of the beans.

PHYSICAL TEST (Men)
Go to the nearest drug store. Set your wallet on the counter. Tell the clerk to help himself. Now proceed to the nearest food store. Go to the head office and arrange for your paycheck to be directly deposited to the store. Purchase a newspaper. Go home and read it quietly for the last time.

FINAL ASSIGNMENT (I personally love this one!!!!)
Find a couple who already have a small child. Lecture them on how they can improve their discipline, patience, tolerance, toilet training and child's table manners. Emphasize to them that they should never allow their children to run wild. Enjoy this time since you will never have all the answers again.

And here I am marrying a man who had kids young...so now I will be a young stepmom! I made my f-stepson promise he would wait until he was 26 to have kids, so I will be at least 40 as a grandma! We waited, but we still weren't financially prepared. Heck, I probably still wouldn't have kids if I waited for $$$$$ LOL

I was 24 when I had my first child and while that is older than some who have kids, I still feel it was young :) I felt especially young when I brought my first child to Kindergarten. In my children's group of friends, I am one of the "younger mom's"

Seriously...the money will never always be there..but we own a house and own our cars and we can sometimes buy groceries! LOL just kidding!!!

I think 24 is young especially now...women have babies into their 40's now! HEE HEE! I think women want to do more before they have kids, I personally wanted a master's and a PhD (that might have to wait) before I have kids! I figure there is plenty of time, right?!?!

If I had a child when I was like 22 I would have almost a middle schooler and I am SOOO not ready to teach them and raise one! HA HA!! :)

Tell me about it ... I went to my 25th highschool reunion and some of my friends had just had kids or were pregnant. LOL It was so odd because my kids were 15 & 17, at the time.

LOL being able to buy groceries is a good thing :) There was a time when I called myself the hamburger/rice queen because I could make at least a dozen different meals using one or both ingreadients. It's a good thing the kids were young because they didn't need to know that filet mignon existed :)
