Hello everyone!

While watching rich bride, poor bride this afternoon, I saw the couple (Michelle and Rick) get 42 bottles of 375 mls of wine and 7 bottles of 750 mls of wine for :bbeek: :bbeek: 148 dollars!!!

I tried to figure out the name of this place and searched online and everything. I couldn't find a thing who did the same thing for a similar price, and most started around 12 bucks per bottle.

Does anyone have ANY ideas? This place even included the custom labels on the bottle! Help pleeeease! I would LOVE to do this for our guests.

We used to brew our own beer and make our own wine but we did it at home. In Canada, there is a chain called "U-Brew" where you can go, use their equipment and make just a batch or two.

Look for "make your own wine" or "wine kits". These places will have everything you need - the water, the equipment, bottles, the labels, the corks, the shrink wrap caps.

Which is exactly why we used to make it :) It's even cheaper if you make it at home. I have all the equipment but we just don't have the room now.

yeh i figured it was canada, because i looked up their wedding coordinators name and she was in ontario.

Hmmmmmmmmm....
I thought about emailing their coordinator, but thought I shouldn't... she has real clients that pay to get their questions answered and I didn't want to take up any of her time...

It can't hurt to send and email, if she replies, great, if not, it didn't take that much effort or time out of your day. You never know what you can get just by asking!

I agree with Carrie...it will not hurt ANYTHING to e-mail her...I bet she got tons of business from the show.

I don't get the show here :(

We get canadian news though. I think they usually mean dollars in the country it's filmed in... though if it's all Canadian and US, it doesn't make all that much of a difference now anyway...

Could it be that Ubrew places are illegal in the US????? In Quebec, there are stores where we can buy all the equipment but it's illegal to open a place where people can make their own. I am not that far from the border of Ontario so I could go make wine there but it's easy to do at home so I never bothered.

There are places online that everything you need to do it at home - http://www.beer-wine.com/category_page.asp?categoryID=112&sectionID=2

Looks like you can make your own wine at these vineyards - http://dvinewineusa.com/locations/index.html

Are there any vineyards near you? You might call or email them to see if they offer this service.
