Well it has been almost 4 months now, since we've been married! I love love love it! But, I love it too much... I don't want to work anymore. I love our house and how we've made it our home, and I just wanna clean and do laundry and cook for my hubby, I'm sick of work!!!!!! I can't wait to have kids, just so I can stay at home. I just feel soo exhausted right now trying to find time to do all that stuff between 5 and bedtime plus continue online classes!

Speaking of kids... major problem! I'm going baby crazy!! My sister and my MOH are both pregnant... and I don't know what is wrong with me, but I wanna be! I'm only 22 and we haven't even been married 6 months...... will this feeling go away?? I'm trying to keep it from DH, because we both agreed that we definitely want to wait 3-4 years... but I'm goin crazy!

Oh girl, don't even get me started on going baby crazy. I swear the second we got married i was like OK BABY TIME!!!
6 months later I am 4 weeks pregnant. hahaha
Just focus on other things... Enjoy your single time and a baby will come. Oh wait, I guess I am not a good person to talk to about that.. hahahaha

Well, since I have finally decided to have an After wedding journal... maybe I should keep ya'll updated!

Well, about a month after the wedding we traded in my car. It was an SUV and costing us way too much on gas$$ So I got a 07' Mazda 3, 5 door. I love love love it!

We are slowly but surely getting our house to look more like our home. Some background on that. His parents own a duplex; and they are letting us rent from them for 1/2 price, so that we can save up for a good down payment. We have decided that the second I found out I'm pregnant, we will begin looking for a house. But, we haven't been able to save any, because I've had 3 surgeries and am about to have my 4th in November. All these medical bills are really adding up!! Which stinks, because I would really like to start TTC by our 1 year anniversary- and I don't think we'll have a lot saved in only 8-9 months.

Hubby graduated last May, right before the wedding; and I am in my final year! I have 3 online classes that are driving me crazy!! I really just want to be done with school!! I have a huge case of senior-itis... but May is just around the corner!!!

My MOH was 5 months pregnant at the wedding... and her little bundle of joy will be coming in only 8 days!!! So I will be "Aunt" Diamend!!!

And my lil' sister was 1 month pregnant at the wedding (unknowingly) and she will be due in April... so I will really be an aunt!! -- See all the babies, now understand why I'm going crazy?!

Yes...that would make anyone baby crazy! lol But, maybe you can "borrow" their babies to get your "fix" and that will help you hold off for a little bit...especially if you keep them overnight and find out how little sleep you get!! lol

I don't think so... b/c I don't nessasarily want a baby in my house, its more I want to be pregnant.... they are soo cute and their is such a bonding b/w mother and child... and I keep seeing all the maternity cloths.... hm :(

Man, I really suck at keeping up with this thing... sorry! Well, things have been going well! Our house is almost completely furnished and decorated just as I would like it! :) We just hosted Thanksgiving at our house! That was fun... In his family, each married couple "owns" a holiday to host. His mom throws a huge Christmas eve party, we go over to her brothers for Christmas, grandma does Easter...etc. Now, we have Thanksgiving! I was a little nervous, being a wife of only like 4.5 months and making the entire thanksgiving meal for both of our families! But it turned out great!! Everyone loved everything, and I didn't burn anything!! I'll have pics as soon as I upload them onto the computer!

This saturday we are going to put of the Christmas tree! Christmas is both of our favorite holiday! I love getting the house all cozy and Christmasy... turning the lights down with the Christmas tree shining and cuddling on the couch with hot cocoa, Christmas music and my hubby!

Aww, I can't wait!!

Hi! Just thought I'd stop in. We really like the Mazda 3s too, but we can't afford one right now. I understand exactly how you feel about wanting to be done with college. I will be done finally in a couple weeks! Chris is gonna see if he can graduate in May, he only needs 6 classes. I can't wait to be done, but I'm scared too because I need to find a full-time job somewhere, and there is like nothing available right now! Definetly nothing in what I want around here. I don't want to start paying back loans! We will be sooo poor!

Well, Christmas is right around the corner!!! I'm getting sooo excited!! We got our tree and stockings put up and this weekend we are going to take family pictures in front of the tree. so I will have updated pictures soon!

I just finished my last final of the semester last night!!! Only one more class and I can finally graduate!! I'm getting really excited!

This week at work we have secret santa. It's been fun so far! I'm gotten some really good flavored coffee and tea and a new coffee cup! :) I just realized that every weekend this month is booked! We went to my dad's in Missouri last weekend, this weekend we have our youth group's Christmas party, next weekend we have a wedding to go to and then the last weekend we have a youth conference. BUT, the first weekend of January we are going down to St. Louis for a little weekend getaway! We are going to stay at the Hyatt and go to the Fox and see WICKED!!!! I'm getting excited... its some fast crazy weeks of fun for the next 4 weeks!

Congrats on almost being able to graduate! This is my last semester and I'm done! Woohoo! Hehe. Finals started this week and I haven't had one yet. I have 2 tomorrow and one of Thursday and also a paper, which is a final, due on Thursday.

I cannot believe that it is almost 2008!! That is crazy!! I have just a few updates!!

So this next semester is my very last and I graduate!! (WooHoo!) so, I only need one more class, which I registered for a while ago. But today I got an email that they just added their very first Sign Language class!! I love signing, I know very little but I have always wanted to learn more. And I think it would be really neat to get a signing license and be an interpreter for college/hs students or for worship services!! So, since I don't need it anyway, I signed up (why not?) and there is no pressure... I can just learn for fun for once!! I cannot wait now for the next semester to start (which is really strange for me since it just ended!)

I'm stilling waiting to see what my final grades were from last semester!! And UI'm waiting to see what my financial aid refund will be for the spring semester.... I don't like waiting, I'm impatient!

I cannot wait til Christmas!!! I'll have pics soon!! But I got DH a new Halo Xbox 360 controller, a shirt, a train set around the tree (which I'm gonna put together Xmas eve to surprise him in the morning), a cue ball clock for his desk, an ornament, PJs for Xmas eve. I also made him coupons for his stocking and some small stocking stuffer stuff. I'm getting really excited!!

I've just started reading your journal and it's so exciting - a new home and all.

I'm getting married in a couple months and I think I'm going to be exactly the same. Even though I posted that thing about not wanting a baby, I'm going baby crazy. I'm not ready, not until at least 5 years but I want a baby soooo bad ! And I don't want to go to classes anymore either hehe ;)

Christmas was AWESOME!! I love being married to the most wonderful man in the world!!! He loved all of his gifts (squeel:D) We had a great time and were able to get up and open our own presents and then go visit family on our own time...it was sooo great! New Years was also terrific! We spent it with our dear friends (the husband had testicle cancer last year, she was my MOH, and they just had my little "neice") celebrating him being one year cancer free!!! The weekend after New Years we went to St. Louis for the weekend. It was sooo amazing!! We stayed at the Hyatt at Union Staion and shopped and we got to see WICKED!!!!! It was such a great weekend get away that was much needed!
We have been doing really really well! Did I mention I love being married to the most wonderful man in the world?! Seriously, I do! We having been doing a bible study together since Thanksgiving and really diving into the Word a lot lately! And I have just been mesmerized with how on fire we, especially Tony, are with God and the more I see of my amazing husband's spirit the more I fall in love with him! It is like I fall in love with him over and over everytime he shares with me what he has been reading and what the Word has meant to him.... it is just a really awesome time in our lives right now! Our little Zoe is doing very well! She is calming down and being good! I'm soo glad that we have her as our little addition to our family! OO yea... and I just started my LAST semester!!! I have 1 online class and one night class. My night class is American Sign Language!!! It is soo much fun... but also very hard (surprisingly)... but if I like it and I get good at it, I really want to pursue it and get certified...so that when I am a stay at home mom.. I will have a small side job for some extra income!

Who's ready for spring?? Me too!!! Grrrr, so Friday I got a snow day!! (Yahoo...) but, it was a perfectly good snow day with my hubby ruined!, b/c I had a horrible migraine from the minute I woke up http://s.xanga.com/images/sad.gif! Soooo... that stunk! Saturday, I felt fine and we were able to see a movie and have a wonderful time together... but then Sunday morning I woke up horrible! My stomach was in sooo much pain and it made me quezy!http://s.xanga.com/images/wtf.gif It was just such a crapy feeling long weekend!
But back to the bump n' grind of work on Monday and a week full of meetings! It is going to be crazy busy (not like that's different from any other week http://s.xanga.com/images/whatevah.gif) but, tonight I have a Lambda Pi meeting and then me and my sis have lamaze! Tomarrow night I have class, Wednesday is church, Thursday me and my momma have to go shopping for Steph's shower, Friday we have dinner with the Toller's, Saturday is our ladie's conference at the church followed by cooking and preparing for the shower, followed by Saturday night church and the Toller's performing at the coffee house and then Sunday after church is the shower!!! Phew! I'm already tired just typing it all!
Anywho... I'm ready for May!

So how is everyone's weekend?? Mine was soo great! My MOH's mom was in town, so we got to eat dinner with her and MOH and husband and baby Lucy at Bianco's (hubby's family's restaurant) Friday! And then our women's conference Saturday at church was soo great! And it was even greater that my lil sis came and had a really good time! And Saturday night our friends were the entertainment at the coffee house!!!! We had such a good time, even my mom and sister came out to support them!! And of course it was an excuse to hold my favoritist niece!!! ;)

My sister's shower on Sunday went really well! I was surprised at what a turn out she had, it really made her feel loved by her church!! I'll post some pics as soon as I get them uploaded!

This week is just as exciting!! Tomorrow night our church is going to vote on me and Tony for the Jr. High youth leaders!! We are soo pumped and really praying that God's will is done in however the vote turns out. And then... Friday starts D-NOW!!!! I'm pumped!! We got some really fun things planned!!! I can't wait!!

And of course.... I forgot Valentines day!!! It is our first V-day married (I'm such a sap!) We are absolutely poor though, so instead of gifts we are just going to be extra romantic!! I'm turning our house into our honeymoon (italy)!! So I'm gonna make an Italian breakfast and pack him and Italian lunch!! He threw a fit that he wanted to make the dinner though... so we'll see! ;) And then I'm going to turn our bedroom into this really romantic italian bedoire!!! 'll have to remember to get some pics before he sees it!! I'm pretty excited!!!!

Well, I'm so happy that everything went so great for you this weekend. It sounded just wonderful! Good luck with the church vote. I have such a hard time asking for God's will to be done in my life rather than my will sometimes. I struggle with that!

Well, we are officially the new Jr. High Youth Leaders!!!! I'm soo excited and relieved to have the vote over with!!!

Valentines Day was terrific!! He cooked an amazing dinner and the house looked really nice! I have pics, but of course not my camera with me... will soon! ;)

Tonight we are eating at his parents house for dinner.... they miss us! And tomorrow night we are going with our pastor and his wife and a few other couples in the church to St. Louis for a really nice dinner! We are going to go to Cody's... I've never heard of it, but I guess it is really nice and they cook in front of you..so I'm pretty excited!!

Saturday (squeel!) I'm going to get some different low-lights in my hair! I've never had color before... and I have such a unique color that I've been scared to mess with it! But I really need some type of texture with my new cut.... so hopefully it goes well!!! (Wish me luck!)

Well, last night was out first youth night on our own!! Tony did a great job, I'm always soo proud of him... and when I here him talk to the kids, I just completely fall in love with him all over again!! :D

OO, Saturday we went to get hair cuts, and I got some durastic color!!! As soon as I take a pic of myself, I'll share!

Soo.... I have noticed something about myself.... I think my body does not like to stay healthy too long before causing me trouble.. My incision is getting so much better... I still wear a bandage though every once in a while... and just when I think "WooHOo, I can be normal for a little bit!" my body revolts! So, last night... we were turning all the lights out at the church and getting packed up to leave, when I thought I'd be nice and turn the sancturary lights off. So I go up and turn them off, then realize I had to go back down the stupid steep stairs in the dark! Tony is telling me step 1, step 2... then he says two left... so, I take two steps and think I'm on the ground.... and BOOM, I biff it! grrrr! So, my ankle swells up like a balloon, we RICE it (rest, ice, compression, elevation) and this morning.... I'm in my house slippers and crutches at work! (doh!) I'm such a goof, it seems I can't do anything graceful!http://s.xanga.com/images/whatevah.gif Oh well... tonight Tony will probably force me to put more weight on it, and the crutches should only last for another day.

My ankle is getting better! It is still really sore, but I don't have it wrapped anymore and I'm not limping as much! Phew!

This week is midterms!!! grrr. So... that's no fun at all, especially since right in the middle of them, I have to get my wisdom teeth out. Thurdsay I have surgery... so I'm hoping to try to get everything done before then because I'm gonna need all the rest I can get. And next week (I won't be completely healed or pain free) my sis will be having her baby!!! Man, I'm gonna get tired!

On a brighter note... I turned in my graduation contract!!!! So everything is set and I'm ready for May!!!

Midterms are this week! I was supposed to have my sign language midterm last night- but school was cancelled b/c of snow!!! And since spring break is next week I haev another 2 weeks to study!! WooHoo! I have my online one this week to, but I can do it any time.

My wisdom teeth surgery is tomorrow!!! So I'm going to eat as much crunchy yummy stuff as I can today!

Stephanie just went to the dr. this morning and he says that Koen weighs 7lbs and she could have him any day now..... so...... exciting! But, please pray that it is any day NEXT WEEK, since I am her labor coach and I won't be up to it since my surgery is TOMORROW!!

Good luck with your surgery!! I had mine done a few years ago and it really wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be...I kept a bag of frozen peas on my face for two whole days while I just slept and ate chocolate pudding, after that I was fine!

I hope the baby stays put until you are healed up! If not, I guess you can load up on the pain killers and be the most relaxed person in the room!

Ok... so whoever went on and on about how easy wisdom teeth surgery is and how I'll breeze through it- either did not have TMJ problems as I do, or are big fat liars!!!! OO my goodness! Seriously, out of my 4 other surgeries this year, this one is my 2nd worst!! I'm in such pain! And I know it is b/c of my lock jaw- its not neccessarily my teeth that hurt but my jaw! I can't open it, I can't close it completely- it doesn't even open wide enough to fit a spoon in it. I hate this!!! I'm starving and I hurt and I'm getting cranky!!! And the doctor said that this surgery will make my jaws hurt worse... which I'm starting to feel! And that as soon as my stitches are gone he'll be putting in a splint to fix my TMJ.

Stephanie is doing good... getting big! But I think we are safe until I'm better... I don't expect anything to happen until at least the end of this week or this weekend.

Aw, that sucks about your wisdom teeth! I had all 4 out a few years ago, when we were dating, Chris would come up to my parents' house just to sit there with me. I was never in any pain though. I wish you weren't! I would so hate to be hungry and not be able to eat! I'd go crazy!

Oh man! I am sorry about the TMJ!! I used to suffer from that too, but surprisingly enough, my chiropractor was able to help a lot with it, and now it only bothers me sometimes... TMJ would definitely make healing from wisdom teeth more difficult. I will be praying for you!

Ok... so it has been 6 days, and the pain seems to be getting WORSE! Seriously, I don't know how much longer I can stand this amount of pain! I mean, though this is my 2nd worse surg., at least the first worse only let me be in intolerable pain for a couple days before I got a morphine pump!!! It is terrible, and none of the pain meds are even scratching the surface of the pain! I go for my follow up tomorrow... so hopefully he will give me some hope!

Stephanie is still very pregnant! She goes in tomorrow to see if she is dialated any... and then we'll go from there!

Also, my little sister, Alyssa, is coming to visit me for her spring break!! She comes this Saturday and gets to stay all week!!!! Hopefully, my pain can ease up enough to enjoy her stay!

It was a little scary - he actually put one of his hands inside my mouth (with a glove on - it tasted gross!) and had one on the outside and adjusted my jaw somehow... it wasn't a loud crack or anything - that would have freaked me out, but more of a solid thump, and it really has been better ever since!

WOW!! That sounds kinda scary... but weird! I didn't know that chiropractors worked with mouths.... very interesting.

Well, I get to finally go to the oral surgeon today for my follow up and figure out why I'm in sooo much pain!! Eeek.... I'm nervous that he's going to hurt me, but excited to see if he can get me out of this pain!!

OMG!!! So, I went back yesterday and I had 4 DRY SOCKETS!!! I don't know how that was possible!?? I followed all the rules and I even stopped my birth control b/c they said that was a factor!! GRRR... but now I have that medicated gunk and I'm feeling sooooo much better!!!! Ahh, what a relief!

Also, yesterday my sister went in to her dr. She is 1-2 dilated and they stripped her membranes.... sooo there should be a baby within 48 hours!!!!! I'm getting excited! And I have my phone with me constantly just incase I get the call!

In other good news!, we got our tax refund back today!!!! We got $1800, so we were able to pay off our credit card!!! That is such a huge weight off my shoulders!!

I got dry sockets when I had my wisdom teeth out, too. They put this clove medication in them, and it was SUPER nasty. The first thing I drank with them in was Yoo-hoo and I've never been able to drink it again. The drugs were nice, though!

That sucks about the dry sockets, I was so worried I'd get them and I didn't. I can't wait to get our tax money back, it'll mostly go to credit cards! Congrats on getting yours paid off! And congrats on being an aunt!

I believe the dry sockets are all gone!! WOOHOO! I went in yesterday and they took the medicated cloves out and I'm a little sore now, but feeling great! :)

Spring break is over :( But that also means that half the semester is over and we are getting really close to graduation!!!! I'm getting sooo excited!

Today my boss is taking a bunch of us out to lunch to celebrate my 2 year anniversary of working here! I'm pretty excited about that... I always bring my lunch to work, so it will be nice to get out!

We don't have any plans for Easter b/c we are still waiting on that darn baby to come out!! So hopefully it will be this weekend! I'll let you know!

Wow, busy busy! Ok... so not too much going on, just keeping busy with my little guy! ;) Tomorrow I get to order my cap and gown and grad invites!!! (squeeel!) I'm getting soooo excited!! Only 5 more weeks and then 2 days of finals and then I get to graduate!!!! Ahh, that will feel good! I'm the VP of our Comm Honor Society, so we've been planning our induction cereomony!!! Which is also pretty exciting- I get to make a speech and put the medals and chords on everyone we induct! And for graduation I get to wear my chords and medal loud and proud!!! Can you tell I'm excited? haha!

Not much else is happening.... our youth group is growing!! Its sooo great! We are having a blast with them and we are planning some pretty cool events for the summer!

Kinda tired of working- can't wait to be a stay at home mom... and finding it very hard to be patient while waiting.....:(

Okay, I'm back!!! Koen has been keeping us busy.. but it is totally worth it!!! ;) He is doing very well, he cries ALOT though... so I need to get me some ear plugs, I think. But, I am having soo much fun with him! We keep putting his hair in a mohawk (more like a fohawk)... so it is starting to just form one naturally!! heehee... he's gonna be the coolest, most handsome boy ever! I will keep you updated with pics!!

Saturday, Tony and I took Zoe to the park and had a picinic! We had sooo much fun!! We went on the trails that go off into the woods. Zoe went crazy with excitement! We came upon a log... and it was soo funny! She wasn't sure what to do, and she couldn't find a way around it. Tony had to pick her up and teach her how to jump OVER the log.... after that she kept trying to find more logs to jump over! It was a blast!! While we were eating our picinic, we were attacked by some Mormans...... that was fun! ;) I understand what it is like to be a missionary and have to talk to strangers and all.... but you don't interupt them in the middle of a meal!!!! It was sooo rude! We are trying to eat our lunch and then they come up to talk to us... and of course Zoe went crazy...so I had to keep giving her bites of my sandwhich so she wouldn't get them.... and they over stayed their welcome... b/c Zoe got to eat my entire sandwhich... leaving me very hungry! :( Oh well, we took some really good pics... and as soon as I find my camera chord, I will share! ;)

That is about all I know...... I'm pretty boring! OOO I did go to the Washington Street Mission this morning and got to pass out doughnuts and coffee to the homeless. Surprisingly, I had a great time! Everyone was sooo nice and it felt good to be a smiling face and a "good morning" to them! I think I made some friends. I'm pretty sure that I'm going to make it a weekly thing now.... I'm attached! So I'll be there every Tuesday morning!

Things are really rolling along for you. I'd love to get involved in a local mission. That must be a very rewarding experience. And I just had to laugh at your park story and Zoe getting to eat all of your sandwich because of the talkative bunch!

Well, we have been super busy it seems; but we are having a great time! We had a great weekend- I'm soo glad that I got to spend some time with my sweet hubby since he will be leaving fore Memphis on Thursday for his annual golf trip.

Friday we were able to go out with the in-laws and have dinner. We had a really good time and caught up. And, since the boys will be gone this weekend- my MIL is planning a girls day at the spa on Saturday with us and my SIL!! So I'm pretty excited about that! ;) Saturday we were able to go to on of our youth group girl's basketball tournaments!! And they won- which made it more exciting!!

Yesterday was sooo beautiful!!! After lunch me and Tony laid outside on the grass to do our bible study together- It was soo peaceful!

We have a pretty packed week coming up and then Tony is gone all weekend. I'm pretty bummed that I'm gonna be alone- but getting excited about spending Saturday with my MIL and SIL!! Hooray!
