I wished I would of found this site a year ago, when I started planning my wedding. My name is Susie and I'm marrying the man of my dreams on November 24th, of this year.
I have a question... My dad is deceased, so I asked my mom to walk me down the isle. She has agreeded, but we really don't know what she should wear. I have an Ivory dress. My colors are plum and silver. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

TRADITIONAL MOB means she can wear something to compliment your colors- For example, what colors are your girls wearing? dark purple? she may want to wear a lavender or even a pink color.

Welcome to OW!!! *^^* I think your mom could wear anything she wants (though it'd be nice for her colors to match your weddings..) other then that, i think it'd be pretty no matter what.

I think she can wear anything she wants! She can match the others or not!!

Your mother can wear something that compliements your wedding colors, or she can wear ivory or a light beige color. It is really up to the both of you :)

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome! My mother has bought to dresses. She has a purple and beige one. I haven't got to see them yet. I'll go to her house tomorrow for a quick fashion show. I'm going to have my dress fitted today! I'm so excited. It is 2 sizes too big, but had to have it. I can't believe after a year of planning I'll be married in a month and a day. Time flys by.
