helping find music for friends

I have a couple of really good friends getting married in the next few months and even though I am not a bridesmaid (they both have a lot of sisters filling those shoes), I am helping them with ideas. What fun! One big challenge they are both having is finding or deciding on the perfect songs for their big day. There are just so many to choose from! I came across one that they both really liked (one more than the other). It is called “Now It’s We” and is by Pete Kronowitt. I think he is an independent singer, but I’m not sure. Anyway, my friends listened to it on his web site and like I said they both really liked it. I’m not sure if either will for sure use it, but it is definitely being considered. There is a lot of good songs out there, but it also depends on the personal style/preference of the couple. For our first dance, we are using "The Good Stuff" by Kenny Chesney. Other people prefer older songs, while some want nothing to do with country and prefer the more "mainstream" kind of music. What kind of style are your friends going for?

I think they are really open to anything... as long as they can relate to the song or that is just really touches them.

Some that I have seen used frequently are "Bless the Broken Road" Rascal Flatts; "The Luckiest" Ben Folds (Five); "At Last" Etta James; "Amazed" Lonestar; "Maybe I'm Amazed" Paul McCartney; "Keeper of the Stars" Tracy Bird (I think); "You and Me" Lifehouse; "Me and You" Kenny Chesney; "For You I Will" Monica; "Stickwitu" ***** Cat Dolls; "If I Ain't Got You" Alicia Keys; "Little Moments" Brad Paisley. These are some of my favorites and should get you started.
