I'm putting a lot of this in my journal, too, but I guess it would be nice to have a more detailed version of all the steps I take here, since they are DIY.
First off, here's a digital image of the end result I would like :)

Clairefontaine square ivory paper, and some pink calque paper laser-printed with the black text.
What do you think?

A version of what it would look like without the calque overlay...

We're basically having a card that opens sideways. Basically 2 squares.
What information should we put on each page?
I was thinking on the cover our names and maybe the date.
On the inside maybe what I've posted so far (the wording is something I came up with in 2 mins at 2 a.m. so really probably NOT final) and on the other part of the inside (on the left) a verse or a quote or a poem or something.
And what should I do with the back? Where should I print out info on how to get to the church, the website and contact information for RSVP? I don't really want to do a seperate card so I was just wondering what you think I should do ?

Which do you like best? And does anyone have any ideas for what to do with ribbon?

Another question : should I just use normal ink to stamp the flowers or should I emboss them? The embossing gun is 25 euros and you need to buy special product. So I can't really just do a test...

Another version : what about having pink paper and all the rest in black?

WOW am I exhausted LOL I forgot my wedding date - we used to be thinking of April 12 so it still kinda gets jumbled up with Feb 16th. Thankfully I'm not printing yet!

I love the one with the pink flowers. The one with the pink background just seems so dark to me. I think you should invest in the embossing tool it would really make the card pop. They're really easy to use.

I love your ideas! The one with the pink paper and black ink is kind of hard to read since the image and the picture are both black. I like the one with the pink flowers the best!

Here is the first printout I actually made on real paper :)

I'll do the rest tomorrow (but I won't cut them yet I'll print them 3 per page - I'll cut them all at the end when I find a guilletine to do it)
