So I have been doing quite a bit of pondering for a DIY project for a gift for the bridemaids. Well I think the totes are cute, but I don't see my girls using the totes, maybe 1 might use it. So I was thinking of a little gift basket with the pink flask that is going to be engraved, a bottle of wine/champagne, maybe some pamper products, but is there anything else that could be added??

I want to do a goodie basket but don't really know what to put in it?

Or do you ladies have any DIY ideas that your girls liked??

A coozie with thier initials/name monogrammed on it, jewelry, and I am making each one a scrapbook with photos of the whole group and me at various events (bachelorette party, showers, etc.), also the flip flops for the reception, and I will probably throw in some cute little extras that I find at the $1.00 store:

Lip Gloss
key chain
frame
etc.

I have NO CLUE what to get my BMs.. lol. Most of them are not really that girlly.. The only things everyone really has in common are like.. anime and video games.. O.o; Haha, maybe i'll just buy them each a manga or something..

I'm doing Vera Bradley travel bags and wrislets and will probably get a monogramed compact mirror to put inside.

A friend of mine just told me that she making memory boxes (like a shadow box) with pictures of them together and other significant objects in them. She is having them made at a craft store that makes scrapbooks, etc.

:pompom: :jphappy: :jphappy: So I found an item to put in the "pamper basket" for my bridesmaids! I was at Wal-Mart and they had chenille bathrobes for 15dollars, and I got each of my girls one in their fav color. I am going to have them monogrammed with their initials on it.... Yyeeeaaa!!!! I'm so excited... I also got the baskets to put the gifts in... Now I just need to get lotions, smoothie gift certificates, and some pink champagne... and maybe some chocolates... ohhh yum...

My friend made purses for my girls. We made them in our colors with lots of special touches just for them.

I filled them with little goodies... chapstick & chapstick holders, jewelry, water & some snacks for the big day, a little journal (I wrote a note to each on the first page). I gave one to each mom, too. The mom's bags had a photo album in each of them and a handmade hankie with photos of their parents attached to teeny tiny charms.

Here are pictures of the bags! I lovvvve them. We made a smaller version for the little flower girl. She was adorable carrying it around.

On the back of each one was their name, but very subtle so it wouldn't be cheesey & it would be something they could use daily.

The image on the front is actually a photo of a bird I took in our yard. She transfered it to vinyl for the bags!

On the inside we printed a picture that I took at our actual wedding location. It's applied with iron-on image transfer. It says, "Of all of the gifts, Love is the best. Thanks for being here for us - Love, Justin & Jean 06.26.07"
