I lovvvved making my invites! I'm not much of a papercraft person, but I figured it out as I went along.

Me & hubby were really happy with them and guests said it was like they had gotten a little treasure in the mail. :D

What did you roll them up on? And how did you mail them out?
Those questions aside. So adorable! And pretty! and...eeeee! Love them!

The heart of the scrolls are wooden dowels of two sizes. I spray painted the entire dowel, though obviously I didn't need to - I just felt like it was the right thing to do. http://www.craftster.org/forum/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif I used glass beads instead of dowel caps and attached them with teeny tiny nails.

The scrolls are rolled with rubber cement and clothes pinned to dry...dry...dry.

I made the envelopes wide enough that they stayed pretty flat with the scrolls & booklets inside:

We hand-delivered most of them, but postage-wise, here's the approx $:
Ohio to CA was $1.47
Ohio to OH, MN, VA and TX were all $1.30
