These are just a few things I have found great deals on here so far:
Awesome prices on candle holders. There are some great ones for centerpieces!
They have tulle by the bolt
Champagne flutes or wine glasses 12 for $21.48($1.79 each)!! These would be a great favor to give out. If you have an engraver you could engrave the persons name on it or yours with your date. And they could double as favor and drinking glass for the evening.....just a thought.
They have battery operated tea lights for $1.39 each. I'm thinking I could use these for the luminaries and then have no worries of the candles going out or catching on fire!:bbeek:
I Love this website!!! Can you tell? LOL!!:bblol:

Well, after I go out and buy 100 boxes of Christmas lights, I find the ones that are battery operated. (Ok....not really 100, but I know theres at least 40 in the floor in the office at home.)
What I need to find is the battery packs that you can plug them into. I wont need this at the house, but will for the arch out at the lake. Wonder how hard tose will be to find?

Does Brian have one of those portable power packs to jump start cars?
They look like this:

If not you can buy them I think you can get one for less than $100. I know that seems steep for one day use but it would come in handy in the future too. You never know when the power will go out or if your car needs a boost.
Just make sure if you buy one that it has a built in inverter. If it has a place to plug in a electric cord then it has one. One that is rated for 18 to 20 amp hours will run a light for like 20 hours.
Another option is if you know someone who works at a garage maybe you could borrow one for the day. I know my Dad has a garage and has one to boost cars.
I am sure there are other ways to get power this is just all I could think of right now. There is no power source near by that you could run a long extension cord to?

I dont know if Brian has one or not. All he needs is an excuse to buy a new toy!;)
We would only need it at the lake. There arent any outlet there. Im not sure there are even security lights.
I thinkI may just order some of the lights with the battery packs just for the arch. I dont need a whole lot of them. Maybe 5 stands.

Try the car battery pack idea. I actually got one of those from my dad for Chrsitmas last year. I have had to use it twice since then. It is so simple to use...way easier than jumping a car. Plus you can do it solo you don't have to wait around for help. I think all of us ladies (especially those of us with little kids) should have them. The fact that you can get one for less than $100 and get more than just the jump starting use out of it, makes it something to look into. I know that mine also has a flashlight and air compressor too.
