Ok, so my wedding is Friday and I'm sick :(
It started last night --sore throat, runny nose, the works-- I immediately started taking medicine, drinking lots of liquids, etc... I woke up this morning and its not any better! WHY can't I be sick next week??? Why does it have to be this week???

Plus, I have to go to school from 9-7 on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday thsi week, have the rehearsal dinner Thursday and get married Friday! What a horrible week :(

oh dear, I hope you feel better by this weekend! I am sure if you continue what you are doing you should be OK. Take Ester-C it works wonders!

I agree - try to get lots of rest and I'm sure you can get better. Go see a doctor too if you need stronger medecine.

You could also skip classes maybe to get more rest? If there's one week in your life where calling in sick is justified, it's this week!

Yikes, hon! Not the best week to be sick...but it sure does seem to happen that way. Hope you feel better. Like the others said...how about skipping a couple of classes and getting some extra rest! Hang in there.

I hope you get better soon. If you can, go to the doctor so you can get some antibiotics if you need them or stronger medicine. That should help kick whatever bug you have. Rest, rest, rest, drink fluids. I'll be praying that you get better before your big day.

Skip a few classes, and take Airborne, my dad swears by it. He starts taking it the second he feels sick lol

Thanks for all of your kind words, ladies! I have actually been taking Zicam and am starting to feel better! Unfortunately skipping classes isn't an option, but I have been half-paying attention and half-sleeping! haha
Oh well--hopefully the Zicam will continue working and I'll be all set for Friday!
Thanks Everyone :)

Zicam is amazing, amazing, amazing. I use the gel spray stuff (because I absolutely cannot stand the taste of the lozenges) and within 12 hours of the first spray, generally, I'm feeling 100% better.

Like, this week. I got the cold that everybody seems to be getting, sore throat, listless, etc, and I *had* to go to work (still in the probationary period, small office, they NEED me -- and I need the money) so I bought some Zicam.

Sure enough, it's 48 hours later and aside from being a little tired still, I'm virtually cured.

Yea for Zicam!
