Rick and I were just starting to plan our wedding and his work promoted him and moved us to Cincinnati Ohio. The day after Christmas! 2 hrs away from Columbus where the wedding was to be held.

I have most of the little stuff and not the big stuff. LMAO Like the freaking date. We are doing this wedding ourselfs. And everytime I had the $500 down payment for the reception I had to spend it. Once on my car. It died I had to buy another one. That 500 went towards the new car.
Then we had it again....... but wouldn,t ya know it. Ricks car was about to die. But we had a friend die in a car accident because his car needed fixed and he drove it anyways. Causing him to go into oncoming traffic. Killing him instantly. Hmm if thats a sign or what. We went out that very next day and traded Ricks car in.

So after all this. We can't ever come up with the **** down payment because we have 2 car payments now. And I shop. :bblol:

I have 2 wedding dresses. . lol I bought one and so did my FML. I have 2 of the 4 bridesmaid dresses. They came in this past thursday! woo hoo. I have everything except for my contracts made up and signed. I know who I want to go with. Kept in touch with them this whole time. Just cant give them money yet. haha..

I have been planning this wedding for almost 2 years **** it. Now its so close to income tax time. I am scared.. lol Cause I know once I set that date.. it HAS to happen...I think thats why instead of making small payments to the reception hall. I just buy for the wedding..
Is this a normal feeling..?? Am putting it off myself? I think I am.. sigh.. Where is the pulling my hair out smiley when I need it.

I am marrying my best friend! We have the best relationship. Why am I procrastinating? I have other **** going on in my life. But Nothing that would make me NOT want to marry Rick.

First this is first..who is paying for everything? If you are hoping to do it yourself and are having a hard time with the $500 deposit, then you need to start budgeting yourself alot better ( no more shoe shopping!) If your parents are helping you, ask them how much they can contibute and budget according.

We are paying for everything. What I am doing is spending the " deposit money that could be saved up" on things for the wedding. The little things.
However I did just spent 40$ on kids toys that they didnt need. But the look on my little ones face.. I just couldnt help it.:bblol:

I think that once you are really ready, you'll find the money and be able to put down the big deposits. We put down $1000 on our venue, and now I'm kind of freaking out... part of me wants to elope so I don't have to worry about ALL of this planning, and another part wants to just find somewhere small and cheap, but since we've already plopped down $1000, then I can't change my mind, which is a little frustrating...

Just make sure you are really ready! Then it will all fall into place.
