Maybe a candle or a floating candle to it....

at the dollar store they have shorter pillar candles and they are very nice- you could put them in there and it will be cheap enough :)

At hobby lobby they sell 12 votives (candle AND holder) for around $4. It may be elegant to just sit them around the centerpeices. Also, you can use those 40% off coupons on those.

my fh does not like the votive holders around it....he says it is too much (lighting)
I still didnt find a pillar candle to go in there. I will keep looking. Right now I am trying to find out how long the floating candle will burn for.

ahhh the candle only burned for 3.5 hours
Now I have to find a floating candle to burn longer cuz i am not going to have people running around to put a new candle in there.
I am also going to look at a pillar candle. I am off next weekend so I will go looking again.
I am glad you guys love it. I love the flowers in it and I think i will spread rose petals on the mirror also so it dont look so plain.

I'm usually not a big fan of the floating candles as centerpieces, but your centerpieces look REALLY good.

thanks!
i am still debating on what to do. I might go to Ikea this weekend since I am meeting up with friends in that area. I am going to look for a pillar candle and floating candles and see what they look like. Then whatever I decide i can go back and buy the remaining quanitity I need.
Too bad Ikea is kinda a far drive. But i can plan it to go visit friends also :)
