I found this site that shows you an alternative to chair covers. It is an easy DIY:

Good find Southern!!! Ya tulle is a cheap fabric, plus you can get it online for like pennies and get a lot to it!! To cut costs you can do it on like everyother chair if you wanted too!!

That is exactly what I've been looking for - thank you so much! I've been so worried about how to cover our chairs without spending hundreds and still have an elegant look. I love it, thanks again. Now I'm off to find yellow tulle! :)

Does anyone know of any sites that sell yellow or butter tulle pretty cheap? I'm going to need about 450 yards. I've checked ebay, save-on-crafts, and a few other sites and I'm coming up with approximately $300. Any other places I should check? Thanks!!!

Daisy, I'd suggest googling it if you haven't yet and browsing for a good while. I've been doing the same to find some cheap soap prices (bulk glycerin for favors).
This is an awesome idea, and I'll prolly wind up digging around looking for yellows and oranges myself, so if I find anything I'll definately link you!
