I was wondering if this is too short and informal. I made our wedding inviatitons and the spot where this goes isnt very big so i didnt want it to be very long, but just tell me what you ladies think...if I can improve and such.

We decided on forever...
and forever begins when we
Allyson Whalen
and
Charles Lindberg
get married
on June 28th, 2008
at 4 o clock
First Baptist Church

The only thing I dont know about it the "Get married" part, it just sounds so blah to me.

How about something more like this ...

"We decided on forever;
and forever begins today"

Allyson Whalen
and
Charles Lindberg

We hope you will share our love
and happiness as we wed.

Just another idea to toss out...ours says:

It's with great joy that we
Cindy Darlene and Jeremy Kent
invite you to share with us
a celebration of love
as we exchange marriage vows
and begin our new life together

Date...time...place...

This gives me some ideas on what to write on my invitation. Hope that would be alright from everyone. I'm too blunt with flowery words and this will surely suggestions would really help.

Good luck with your wedding and best wishes to both of you!
