I can't find the posting and what thread it was on... but someone posted a couple websites that they had gotten candy from for their candy buffet. Does anyone know any reputable sites???

We ordered M&Ms from the website. I would recommend them. We had no problems.

Are there any bulk food stores near you? If so, you can usually find a slew of candy there and you won't have to pay for shipping charges. Walmart normally has candy in large container sizes too.

If you are just wanting regular candies then, as others have said, you can usually get good deals at wholesale/bulk stores (Sam's, BJ's, etc) or even your local Walmart.
Depending on your budget, you may also consider adding some fancy candies and/or chocolates too :)

I am looking for red candies and chocolates... I am thinking about doing four truffles in a box for each place setting and then a candy/chocolate buffet... I am all about the chocolate... still trying to mesh out the details and what not... but thanks for the site ladies!!!

My guests and ourselves are so happy that we had candies contest, the ones having the most candies get to kiss the bride and the groom, so much fun we had the only day.
You can use candies to make the event more lively. I am in favor of that.

You can order M&Ms in any color, you can also have a message on there, or your wedding date or whatever you want. Those are more expensive though and for a smaller amount.
