Ohhh How cute!!
Even if you did a traditional guest book - this would be a lot of fun to get the guest to do. I LOVE this idea! I might do something like this too!!

Elizabeth, the link didn't work for me. Try it without "the" in the link. :D
We originally talked about doing the guest tags in a vase, but the more I see this idea, the more I like it.

These are so great. We're doing a kind of yearbook style guestbook so it wouldn't work for my guestbook, but these would be perfect our wedding time capsule. :whoohoo:

I don't have it made yet, but here is the site I'm making it through. We're going to use engagement pics and pics of each of us as kids and the guests sign the pictures and blank pages like you would a yearbook

I am loving this idea more and more... but I thinking about incorporating it along with the basic guestbook.... just set it up somewhere else. B/C you know how when you get to a wedding reception... you usually have to stand in line and then sign the book --- well to fill out a whole page could make the line longer and the guest might just feel kinda anxious and just scribble something down. So I am thinking of setting up a seperate table with the pages and pens.

I agree about the line getting too long. I think we're going to find a way to have pages at each table.

I got a guestbook from the guestbook store and I love it! I am going to have a traditional guestbook at the ceremony and then put this on at the reception so people have time to color and get creative! I got the casual one and colored in the hearts and stars in pink and green. I love the pages where you can write a letter to your groom and fill out parts about the day and he can do the same on his own page. Here are some pics of the finished thing! And you can pick out your own album.

I played around in Publisher and made my own pages. I'm going to have a regular guestbook at the door to the church and the reception, and then instead of binding these pages together right now, I'm going to leave them loose and just set them at everyone's place at the tables. It'll give them something to do while they wait for us :) Other than drink, of course ;)

I actually get daily craftzine emails (love them! very inspiring!), and I saw this in one of them a long time ago. I bookmarked it, because I'm totally doing it! But I didn't know about the guestbook website... I'll def. have to check it out!!! :hi:

I love those guestbooks, but I was talking to FH, who is a graphic designer, and he's definitely going to make one. For the guestbook that we'd want from the site, we'd pay $54. If he designed the same number of pages (with basically the same layout as from the website, 'cause they were so darn cute!) and took them to Kinko's , they'd charge only 8cents per page to copy, and .99 per file to open. So we could get the same book for $11.33 plus tax plus the binder to put it all in.... so maybe $25 total, for a self-designed guestbook??? Cool! :eureka:

Hello! I found this site in a google search. I'll have been married 10 years next March, but I'm planning my parent's 50th, and so much is similar.
I was so happy to find this thread, and will be using a lot of the great ideas here for the big bash next weekend.
Thanks for the great guestbook suggestions!

The guest book ideas here are very cool - wish I had thought of that for our wedding last year! We did the photo matt idea (where guests signed the photo matt in a frame), which was also very cool - but I really like this one better. Oh well - maybe for our 10-year anniversary?
I also wanted to mention that you can do some really cool photo books (for any occasion) through shutterfly - a friend of mine has done a few and they came out really nice.
Best of luck, everyone!

I think I'm going to do a guestbook DIY project and try to do the downloadable pages the first one offered: http://www.summet.com/blog/2007/05/10/wedding-guestbook-pages/

I am doing a photobook for my guestbook. I am ordering it from snapfish.com, I already have all my photos loaded on there, so it's easy! I can't wait to see how it turns out!
