We just found out on Friday that my Grandfather committed suicide. We are heading down to their house tomorrow to be with family. It is just the worst thing that has happened to me thus far, I am a mess.. But I can't imagine how my grandmother is feeling, so please please keep her in your thoughts and prayers on Tuesday as we bury my grandfather...:frown:

Oh Katy thats awful! I will definitely keep you and ecspecially your grandma in my thoughts and prayers! I lost my grandfather last summer after he had been sick for a few months, and it was really hard; I can't imagine losing someone like that so unexpectedly! If you need to talk I am here!

I will keep your grandmother and whole family in my thoughts and prayers. My grandfather commited suicide 5 years ago too, Hopefully it helps to remember he chose to do this and is hopefully at peace with his decision. Maybe that is the wrong thing to say, but i understand how you feel and that thought was the only thing that kept me from screaming in the beginning. Please keep us updated to let us know how your grandmother is and how you are.

Thank you everyone for your kind words! My grandma is doing as well as can be expected. We buried my grandfather yestarday, it was the hardest thing my family has had to go through and we can only hope that we get stronger becasue of it and we know he is watching down on us.
