:rain:

Mine loves him some WWE Wrestling. And that cage fighting thing...UFC?

And, sorry, but I hate football. Bleh! I'm SO ready for the season to be over with!

Oh!...and he loves Saturday morning cartoons - League of Superheros, Johnny Test (though that IS a pretty cute one), Adventures of Batman & Robin, etc etc etc. Those aren't as bad....but they last WAY too long for me. I don't have kids yet...I shouldn't have to deal with those shows! :bblol:

So what about your guy?

Easy answer ..... any show that is on the space channel! He's a junkie.

I don't watch a whole lot of tv. But, I think DH gets more annoyed with my shows than I do with his..I like my WE shows..like bridezilla, platinum weddings, and wedding central...He thought I'd stop watching them after the wedding..NOPE!!! He also hates it when I'm watching one of those lifetime movies too!

DH likes to watch the Nasa channel and that usually bores me; that and those home improvement shows, the ones with Bob Villa mostly :p And that How It's Made show bugs me because the narrator is monotone and boring. I think there are a couple more, but I can't think of them right now ;)

Oh my .... LOL DH likes those shows too. I don't mind watching 99% of home improvement shows but Bob bores me to tears! Next time you are forced into watching the How It's Made show take note of all the stupid puns ....

today we will show you how stop signs are made .... it will bring you to a halt .... *groan*

hahaha - Yeah I like some of the home improvement shows from time to time, but not Bob :p

And I have never noticed the puns on How It's Made, I will have to look for that next time; maybe that will give me some fun out of it ;)

Doing a little surfing on the subject now and it seems that there might be different narration/voice overs depending on the country you are in so, I am not sure if the puns are "the norm". Our version has a woman that narrates ......

When I got home today and turned the tv on, the good old Discovery Channel was on. :notsure: It's always either the Discovery, Science, or History Channels. Argh. He hardly ever controls the remote though. Thank God.

UGH. We have an Xbox right now...but not the 360. So it's not that bad. Not that I don't hear about the 360 EVERYDAY, though.

He'll get one for the wedding, I'll make sure of it. But MAN I'm gonna regret it shortly thereafter. (He just better leave it at home on the honeymoon! :bblol:)

Well, it is a guy out here. I tried to watch the video you posted, but I guess I can't since this came up - "SORRY! You can't play the CTV Broadband Channel videos in your country"

Well we really don't watch that much TV. We no longer get cable, but when we did we both watched a lot of History Channel and Animal Planet. He's not big into watching sports, and when he does it tends to be things like a local college football team (we both enjoy that). Mmmm other than that we both like House, Criminal Minds, and anything Law and Order. Dirty Sexy Money is pretty good for a new show too ^-^. Seems I dont have much to complain about on this one!

I also cant' complain too much about gaming systems...as both of us play them. Me not as much, but I have the ones I enjoy!

Im pretty lucky that during NON fb/bb SEASONS fh loves the discovery channel and those crime channels- I love them too so its good but since we got our media room he its been football and baseball season and he has done nothing but watch in there- I am a football fan as much as the other but my life revolves around football b/c the in laws are obsessed too as well as my family- so there is no getting away :)

The worst thing is POKER though- i love playing it but FH loves watchin it to see about reading other peoples hands- i just dont have that kind of patience.

OK I love my FH, but I can only watch COPS so many times. Seriously an episode comes on and he will be like "I already seen this" but will watch it anyways and will tell me the details of it before I can sit and watch it through.... "Watch ya gonna do when they come for you!"

LOL it's about time you people got that sort of message. I get it all the time - US residents only.

It must be because it's top secret Canadian stuff! We must protect our processes .... you aren't to know how we get maple syrup out of trees ...

My ex was so ticked when he couldn't get a hockey game on tv, in Myrtle Beach, while we were on our honeymoon and so we just HAD to buy a paper so that he could get the scores the next day.

As for FH - he is totally into the discovery channel and anything about history

I don't mind most of what DH watches on TV. Mostly because we watch a lot of the same things. BUT, if there is a James Bond marathon on, that is all that will be on the tv. He has seen every movie, knows them inside, outside, upside down, and still gets completely wrapped up in them. They bore me to tears! The good news is, I get a great nights sleep when he's watching it! LOL
That and when he watches a movie that has been on tv every week for the last month. Ya know how stations like TBS will get in a kick and play the same movie all weekend and the once a week for the next few weeks? Well, he'll have to watch the "good ones" every time. I'm sorry but while I don't mind seeing movies more then once, I have to spread them out.

hahaha :icon_tv: - just wanted to use that smiley ;-)

DH used to LOVE to watch Jerry Springer! We would watch it together sometimes and that was fine, but I can only take so much. It got to where he was recording every replay there was on TV :icon_barbar: I started stopping and/or deleting the timers :geek:

*shrug* Really the only thing he watches that I don't care for is "Heroes." It's not that it's not a good show (I'm sure it is), it's just that I didn't watch it from the start, and wasn't interested enough in it to catch up on DVR.... So Monday nights he has the remote to himself for an hour.

FH watches 24 which I loathe...And Code Monkeys lately. I can't stand either one. But we're even, since he hates Bridezillas and 90210. (Yes, I TIVO the ones off SoapNet every day.)

This is going to sound sooo LAMO..but I just love sitting on the couch with FH so whatever he is watching is interesting to me..I know I know..... get back to me in a bit, right?!?!?!

He does do the WWE thing, which I just think is stupid, but he love it!

Yay! I'm not alone in my obsession with Kelly/Brandon/Dillon and the gang. I was too young to care when they were on first run, but now... I get so caught up. lol I'm pathetic and everyone makes fun, but hey - every girl needs a vice! (Too bad I have many!)

Oh I was plenty old enough, but I was too old for the last few! I think I was in college then! I hear you! I am soo not a fan of Brenda anymore though!

I couldn't think of anything he watches that I don't until you said this. I hate it when we're up late and he's channel flipping and watches "Poker After Dark" that's the only thing I won't watch with him... so boring!

My husband like watching the Simpsons, and Futrama. He sometimes watches Family Guy and American Dad I think that is the name of it. Sometimes they have a few funny things that I understand, but mostly I find them down right disgusting.

DH love pretty much all sports. If I weren't around he would probably watch more shows like the simpsons, family guy, etc. but I'll be honest I control the tv 98% of the time. The only part of his tv watching that really annoys me is that he will come home and I will be watching something and he picks up the remote and IMMEDIATELY changes it too espn, even if I am in the middle of something. That drives me CRAZY! That and just the fact that anytime he has the remote, actually pretty much if he is home and the tv is on, espn is on or flipped to during commercials. He will even flip too espn 2 to see highlights of the game he is watching on the regular espn lol. I don't mind sports sometimes, just not 24/7!!

This is EXACTLY what I was going to write! Aghhh... I am soooo sick of the same documentaries! He will get on these little kicks and that is all he will watch. Recently it was the JFK assasination and he spent about 2 weeks trying to prove that there was a second shooter. Before that it was NASA and all about space shuttles... Soooo freaking boring to me! And it is ALLLL the time!
But I get him back b/c he KNOWS that when Designing Women or Golden Girls reruns are on -- we HAVE to watch them! LOL
