I've lost 12 pounds total since I started trying to lose weight. I lost as much as 15 pounds, but then gained a couple back when I was feeling sorry for myself and overindulged. My weaknesses are ice cream, chocolate, pasta and potatoes. UGH - but I found a way around it! I don't deny myself!
I have some fiber and fruit for breakfast, fruit as a snack, and protein and veggies for lunch. At lunch, I also treat myself to a small helping of pasta or potatoes, wait about an hour, then go for a 30 minute walk. When I get back, I eat another fruit (usually a banana).
I get home kind of late from work during the week, but I eat a light snack before I leave the office. Then I do a 20 minute workout at home, followed by a light protein dinner (chicken, fish, etc. w/a small salad). Lots of water throughout the day (I probably drink a total of 8 Poland Spring bottles, the .5L size). At night, I've also been having 1 scoop of Friendly's chocolate ice cream (mmmmmmm)....
Also, I've spent way too much money on workout DVDs, so I can review some here when I've gone through them all :bbmrgreen:
Still have another 20 pounds to go!! Even if I'm exhausted when I get home, I'll try to do at least 15 minutes of something.
