my dads request...

my dad went and took dance lessons so we would look amazing for our father daughter dance. my dad does not dance! my parents didnt even dance at their wedding. anyways so i have our music all picked out and he went and learned the waltz! so they are teaching it to me now cause of course i'll do anything for my dad but i dont know any waltz kind of music! can anyone help me please??? i need some "waltzy" suggestions!!!

Funny, the only dance my Dad could not do was the waltz so I had to choose a song that was anything but! :)

yeah well my dad refused to do the dance when i first suggested it... i told him i understood COMPELTLY cause im not a dancer either. so i told him that i was going to take some dance lessons... he brought it up again later and told me that no one was going to take that moment away from him and he wanted to take lessons with me. then my mom got in on it and decided she wanted to go to dance lessons as well! yay, the whole group can go! well then they kicked me out and went together and learned waltz and told me they would teach me after the rehersal on friday... the night before the wedding... ha ha... love my parents... at this point though i think they could tell me that they cancelled the cater' and we were going to have hot dogs and i think i would just smile and say ok. im just grateful for everything they have done, my parents are AMAZING wonderful people....

awwww I can only hope my kids have the same sentiments about me someday ... I say someday because they are teens and well ... LOL I am still just Mom - someone to gripe about, someone to be embarassed over and someone who ruins all their "fun" plans :)
