May Wedding.....should I have a outside wedding or inside?

:? I am gettin married in May and I always wanted a outside wedding....but sometimes it's hot in May and then sometimes it's very cold .....what should I do..get married inside or outside?

I think with that month I wouldnt plan on just outside, but maybe some creative planning you can pull it off this way.

I would plan for a wedding that can be either or. Pick a location that you can be outside or it can be moved inside as well. Like a churck with a large yard perhaps.

Make your decorations etc plan around the event that it could be outside or inside.

It can be done with some great planning.

It partly depends on where you are. What is the weather usually like in May?

Have a back up plan in mind. Does your reception site have any outdoor area that can be used for the ceremony, yet are able to come inside if the weather is rainy?

A tent is another option, depending on your budget, of course. And it protects from the hot sun as well as rain.

In case it's hot, programs make great fans. Carlson Craft recently came out with a few new program designs that are fans.

I had my wedding on May 1st of this year and it was orginially planned for an outdoor wedding. However, at the last minute (3 hours prior to the wedding) it started to rain! :cry:

But, since we planned to have the fully wedding at one location, a resort at that, we did have a indoor back up plan. :D

The florist was local and we had a wedding helper that worked for the resort, which moved all decorations inside.

I live in VA and May in a very unpredicable month for us, so I chose a sheeveless gown but had a custom jacket made to wear in case it got cold. :wink:
