January Honeymoon Suggestions??

Hi Everyone - We are getting married this coming January and I have to pick a honeymoon spot and book it ASAP. Can anyone offer any suggestions for a good honeymoon vacation where there's lots to do, but yet won't take 2 days of travel (from NYC area)? Winter makes it a little rough...

What about Cancun or Cozumel? I think you can fly direct form NYC to both those places, and its not quite spring break time yet. I've been there around that time and it was gorgeous and relatively quiet. Maybe take a look there...

I agree with a Mexican location as well. January is actually the busy season there because the weather is perfect. That means that there will be lots to do. My FH & I are getting married in January and going on our honeymoon to Puerto Vallarta. The water isn't as blue, but it's a little less touristy and that's what we were looking for. You may want to give that city a look.

USVI? I'm a huge fan of St John (obviously, lol). I also hear Tortola and Virgin Gorda are breathtaking. (We would have gone there if the legality of marrying there was the same as the US.)
