Thanks!
The basket I bought at a craft store for $6 ea along with the ribbon. All I did was hot glue it on. Super easy and under $20 for three!
The candle I bought clearance ($3!!! - the tapers were $1 for two) at Michael's and then I tried two things:
1. Stenciled the W on with black acrylic paint
2. Hot glue ribbon (same as from flower girl baskets) to the bottom.
I'm not sure which candle I like best. What do y'all think?

The second candle picture had ribbon but not W.
I showed FH what it'd look like with the W a little higher up and ribbon on the bottom and he really like that so I'll attempt that tomorrow. Thanks for the idea! :D

I would think you bought that and paid a hefty price-
Quick question- You used acrylic paint right?
Exactly what kind? And how long do you think i could do it before my wedding? We are doing a "spin" on the unity candle and i have to do 12 of the tapered ones and one large one.

Actually, for the finished product I hot glued a sparkly black chipboard letter (from Michaels in the scrap booking section.) on there! I did have to peel off 2 layers from the back to make it more bendy, but it gives it a nice stand out effect and looks better. My wedding isn't until the end of Dec so I think it'll hold up . . . And just fyi if you need a lot of tapers try the $ store - they're 2 for $1. :)
