Photo Scavanger Hunt Contest - take 2

[WebLady]

Starting today, the contest will run for a week (through next Thursday).

Like before, players will accrue points by collecting pictures (from list below) and there will be two winners. The first place winner will get $50 and the runner up will get $25!! *Prize money will be paid via PayPal*

However, now the rule is that internet pictures will not count; the pictures have to be taken by you. It can be done, you just have to get creative and have fun with it.

Also, the pictures have to be posted in a public gallery page (like photobucket or similar) and you post the link as your submission. Your gallery pics must explain what they are to represent from the list (tell us a bit of the description, not just the number from the list).

All images are worth 2 points unless otherwise noted.
*bonus = 5pts if you are IN the pic*

- man trying on woman's clothes or vise versa in a store (3 pts - 5 if it is you)

The idea is to have fun and be creative here. But, pictures won't count if they just "sort of" or partially fit in the category or theme. If you have to explain it to us then it won't work.

You can only get points for one image in each category on the list. Pictures must be actually photographs, not paintings or graphic images. Pics that have been digitallly altered or "Photoshop'd" will not count either.

Also, the pictures need to be big enough so that we can tell what they are suppose to be, but of course not too big.

Abuse of the contest and/or not following the rules and guidelines will result in disqualification.

It will be up to the mods to decide if something qualifies for points or not. All pictures in your albums will be reviewed and points will be tallied at the end of the contest.

Sure, that would be fine, as long as it fits. Or you can take the pic yourself by holding the camera in front of you ;)

Here's what happened...

I teach SpEd..I have a kids that is out of control right now...he is beating his mom up, stealing, running away, etc. So today he was losing it, my aide watched the class and I took him up to the office, after the conference, etc. they sent him to get his backpack, well the bell had rung and my aide left and the door was open, when I got back BAM camera was GONE!

So do I have proof HE did it, NO, but he was SOOO mad at me, and I would totally not put it past him, so I called his mom and just said, "Hi Mrs. so and so...did Chris accidently take home one of the camera's today? She said, "oh ****, I have not seen it, but I will look." She is going to send him to ANOTher house to live, the poor kids has lived everywhere! But he is OUT OF CONTROL...he will end up killing someone, NO JOKE! SAD SAD....

So my camera is gone and only ONE person was in the room without an adult!!! Hopefully, maybe the principal will replace it, but I doubt it!

My FH and I have been having a blast. He sends me picutres while he's at work to help out. And yesterday it was raining and he gets all excited and says "go dance in it!". Well, needless to say I got soaked, and you couldn't even tell it was raining in the pic.

Of course it is!! My friend's son was riding on the back of her bike, during a Patriot Guard Ride last year (hence the American flag stuck in the back of my jacket) so he got that pic of me. It's one of my favorites. :)

The contest the way it was before had just got a bit out of hand and confusing so we made some changes. You can use all the pics you took before if you want, they just have to be pics you took, not pics from the internet.

I got a few done this weekend.... see, the funny part is, we had a b-day party for a friend this weekend, and it was Pirate themed (we'd had this planned for a month, but it worked out well for pics!)

LMAO... so last night, FH is watching "Heroes" and I went outside to do the "onewed.com written in chalk on sidewalk" in front of the house. I TOLD him I was doing it, and since it's been raining off and on, figured it would wash away.

This morning he walks out the front door and sees it and is like "Whoah, come look at this...." I'm like "Yeah, I told you about that last night..." He totally forgot, and was thinking this was some new marketing tactic - people going door to door writing web addresses in chalk. :lol:
