Coral (color) for beach wedding.....

Well, I'm considering changing our wedding colots.... Previously we'd been set on shades of jade and sea blue (as it's a beach wedding).

However, in one of my new bridal mags this month, I ran across a feature on a wedding done on the beach, and their colors were coral (as in not quite pink, not quite orange) and sand... and it was STUNNING... very warm and romantic.

Does anyone have pics of weddings done with these colors, and more importantly, any ideas for flowers? Previously I was thinking of pure white flowers with touches of green (jade roses) for my flowers, then bright, tropical flowers for the reception/decor...

I think the coral and blue would be nice; very tropical! But the sand color would blend into the beach IMO.

There are all sorts of flowers that come in shades of coral; Roses, Gerbera Daisies, Hibiscus, etc -

OH! Now I never even thought of COMBINING the coral and the blue... those are just GORGEOUS.... has almost an Asian feel to it.... (those Iceland poppies in the right corner of the second pic are just spectacular)...

David's bridal even has a "Palm Beach Coral" color ... I can't find a pic, but I would do like maybe a coral BM dress with a blue sash or something, or even vice versa :)

OH ... I am in LOVE with those colors! And I think they would look the best at a beach wedding! I love coral - it is such a pretty warm color! I don't think you could go wrong with the coral/blue combo!!

Great choice- for Real!!!
I got married in St. Thomas in September-
and choosing what colors was a struggle.
Peach(coral) and purple are my favs.
What I ended up lovin though was for our bridal party
was monocromatic (Tans and cremes) out only accent flower
was a deep purple orchid with an assortment of white flowers-
very tropical and flowy(natural) BUT CORAL- there are soo many flowers
and mixes that will be gorgeous. Stick with it! It will pop against all
your natural elements so you shouldn't need A LOT.
Orchids, lillies, roses, all kinds of hybrids...you have it made-
call a florist and let them present some samples.
Remember to have fun!!!!

Coral on the beach is beautiful. I just went to a wedding and it gave contrast to the ocean. Too much blue on the ocean or beachfront is not good.. You don't want to blend in, but stand out!

What a beautiful color! I think that color would look absolutely gorgeous with chocolate brown. Mixing bright colors like coral with brown is a great way to bring some color to a beach wedding
