Hello there, i am new on OneWed, i wanted to get my story out there, with what happened to my husband and I. We hired Chris Matson to take our wedding picture in Sept, 05. everything was going great, he takes wonderful pictures and helped us with our programs. Well after the wedding and we paid him $3000 we have never gotten our pictures. We will not contact us my e-mail or by phone. We have reported him to the better buisness b., the consumer agency and we are also taking him to court. I just want to give a heads up to anyone who is looking for a photographer because this has caused us so much anger and sadness. We have found that he has done this to another couple also, it is very sad because he does everything that he can to become your friend and suck you in, until you pay and it is all down hill. I tried to get in contact with him for over 2 months, when finally i decided that i would be a new bride, i went on to yahoo under a different name and he of course e-mailed me back very quicky, well after asking him a some questions, we set up a time to meet. Well it was really pricless seeing his face when we came walking in;) Nothing got resolved but at least he knows that I am doing whatever I can to get back my pictures or the money that we paid him. We cannot not redo our wedding to get pictures and is very disapointing because you want everything to go great for your wedding and when something like this happens it really does make for a bad experience. :bbcry:

I just wanted to confirm your warning! My husband and I just celebrated our 1 year anniversary and we still do not have our wedding pictures! We too are taking him to court! I have a question for you... when you set up a fake meeting with Chris, what was his reaction? What was his excuse?

Are you serious that is crazy I mean he took the pictures did'nt he so why the hell can't you get them or were they never really taken at all?
He is a peice of:censored: girl i would post about him all over wedding web sites and call a that I could to ruin him. I hope his business burn down. Sorry im mad cause that was your specail day and your special moments that were sopposed to be captured on film and he took that away and you hard earned money. Your husband should kick his :censored: for doing you like that . I know mine would . I hope all goes well and I wish you luck in court.

Hello everyone, I just wanted to give everyone an update on the ongoing process with Chris Matson, We still have court coming up but another good thing is the Local News channel is running a story on him this Tuesday on KSFY at 10PM. I am very excited that things are starting to happen. Thanks again for all the support from everyone

sorry to inform but i am from out of town and the same thing just happened to myself and husband with chris matson photography just two weeks ago. i guess he is still out there practicing and conning people. i am inquiring about what came about of your court date because we are now in the process of taking him to court as well, and the officer informed myself that if enough complaintifs file then instead of this being a civil matter it can become a felony and he can go to jail but the amount of money all the complaintifs has to be so much i guess. if you could contact me that would be great. thanks
