Is there any way that you can let me know which ones I do have that count? I think I have fixed most of them. I'm not sure about post #198, 211, and 243, if they can be seen or not. I can't see the Ronald McDonald here at the library but the other 2 I can in post #198.

Nope sorry, it has to be a real photo; plus it has to show in the post, not just a link. In this case you posted the link from the google image search and not the website image link, so that is why it didn't work with the [IMG] tags ;)

Ok, thanks for letting me know! This is weird because I can see the camo one still. Oh well, I will get another one. I think all the ones that weren't able to be seen came from the same site. I won't use that one anymore!

Ok, I have a question, for the "posing with a store clerk/worker", does that person have to be in uniform to prove that they are a worker? I would assume so, but just wondered because one of my BM's works at a store and I have many pics with her! LOL.

Ok, after discussing this we have come to the conclusion that we didn't think out the submitting and judging part of all this. The contest still has another week to go and we are already 20+ pages in. The way it is now it will be hard for us to go through all those plus how ever many more there are.

We will try to still count everything posted before this post, but these are the new rules ...

No more web pics; you have to take them yourself.

Gather all the pictures you want to submit and get yourself a new photobucket (or other image host) page and put them all there. Make sure the pics are labeled as to what from the list they are suppose to represent; and the description needs to be there, not just the number from the list.

So Do Not Post Anymore Pics Here In This Thread; They Will Not Count.

At the end of the contest we will review the entries and tally the points and announce our winners.

The kodak won't work unless you have an account with them. It will need to be something anyone can look at without having to log in or create an account. I know photobucket works and the site firespirit used works too.

I'm not one to stir the pot...but since this is a contest and there's money involved :geek:: the people who already put up internet pictures are going to get those counted for...but the people who waited a couple of days won't get those points?

For example...the harder pictures to get like the frog in the pond or the dog on a motorcycle...there's very little chance we can get those points now, but the net pictures from before got the easy points. That kinda stinks for us who didn't do any internet pictures yet.

Well as I said before, most other photo scavger hunts wouldn't allow internet pics at all. But when we started this contest we wanted it to be where everyone could be involved, even those that maybe didn't have a digital camera or time to go out and take pics. Some of the items on the list came from searching online.

But since we started we have seen alot of the same pictures come in over and over again and is sort of not fair and really not in the spirit of the contest. Not to mention how hard it is to judge who got it first and all.

I admit that maybe we didn't think the finer details out before we started, but it was getting out of hand the way we had it. We are trying to make it easier not only for us but for you all. The only option I see now is to change the rules and "grandfather" in those that have already posted (even though that part will still be hard, I think it is only fair) or to just start the whole thing over again with the new rules. So which would you all rather us do?

But really, there are 55 items on the list I doubt anyone will be able to get them all. There should still be plenty where everyone can get something.

I am going to close this thread for now and put up a poll so we can decide how to proceed with this.

ETA - We are starting over with clearer guidelines. Sorry for any confusion :geek:
