We've been told many people don't eat the actual wedding cake, and this is a fun alternative. Plus, we could order the cupcakes from Loblaws and our florist will decorate them.

A good friend of mine has a cupcake cake at her wedding. It was very unique and quests loved it!

I think it is a great idea! I have seen many people opt for the cupcake tower rather than the cake. Saves time cutting the cake too and money if you have to pay to have someone cut it. :D

When we had chosen our 1st wedding and reception site, we toyed with this idea because I thought the cupcake cake would be easier to keep from collapsing. Ive seen a LOT of very, very pretty ones.

I think it is a cute idea. Especially if you are gong to have lots of little kids running around. I know a lot of people who have done it.

I think its a great idea! That way you can have different tears of cup cakes and guests don't have to search through cake to find something that they like!! If I could go back, I'd choose a cupcake cake as well, but my BM made it and she didn't have the time to decorate that many cupcakes! lol

This is a great and very unique idea! I don't think it is an idea that I personally would run with unless I was planning on having kids at the wedding, but it is a great one all the same.
