Saw a proposal on TV tongiht

I watch Don't Forget The Lyrics and there was a proposal on there tonight.

For those of you who don't know the show.... The person has a bunch of different groupds or themes to choose from like tonight there were 1980's, Love Songs, Queen, R & B and a few more. When the person picks a theme 2 songs come up for them to choose from to sing. When this person chose Love Songs the 2 songs that came up were I Finaly Got the Ring by ( her boyfreinds name was listed) and the other song was Will You Marry Me ( again by her boyfriend ). She looked at it for a min. then you saw her face, she was like OMG NO WAY. She turend around and he came over to her with the box that had the ring in it. She was in tears and was like how am I supposed to continue now. She went on to win $350,000. What a night for her.

OMG! That is the coolest!!! My proposal was very public .. .but I could not imagine one on National TV like that! How awesome - he def. gets some major brownie points!

He had said to her, you knwo how I wanted this to be big. I bet he didn't have to pay for the ring though. Just before he opened the box they zoomed on on the name of wehre he got it. They most likely gave him the ring jsut for doing that.

yeah that definitely sounds like ad placement to me. He at least got it much cheaper than what it should have cost.

Yeha but either way you should have seen it. He was shaking holding that box. She turned and started going the other way. Wayne Brady ( the host ) said to her don't run to me lol. She was shocked.

That's really sweet - but MAN am I glad it wasn't MY proposal!!!
I always wanted something private, just the 2 of us (restaurant doesn't count). on the night we got engaged the only living things around us were perhaps a few crabs in the sea and a couple seagulls :)

Off the subject a bit...but has anyone ever seen that movie American Dreamz? I hated it, but they had a part on there where the boyfriend is about to propose to his girlfriend (a contestant on something like American Idol), and her publicist sees it and makes him wait. Then they basically tell him when to propose and how to propose. I just remembered thinking how horrible that must've been, took all the fun out of it! I hope that wasn't the case with this proposal!

Oh wow! That's such an amazing proposal!!! And what a night for her! She now has money for a wedding, a honeymoon, and a down-payment on a house!
