Can you believe that we are heading towards the end of September already?! The holidays are right around to corner!
We were thinking of doing a little ornament exchange, I think we did this last year. So who would be up for something like that?
Of course it would be November before we would really start on it, I just wanted to get a feel of who would be interested in participating :frogg:
Of course we'd have to limit it to active members being her 3 mos or have at least 100 posts, so if you are interested and haven't gotten there yet, get to posting ;)

It would be like a "secret santa" thing; interested ppl would sign up and we would pair people up. Then you would send an ornament to your exchange partner and someone else will have your name and do the same for you :)
Then we will start a pictures/thanks thread where ppl can show off what they got and thank their secret buddy :frogg:

This sounds really cool. I'm interested.
My only question is how to pick the right ornament for a member and what if someone only has certain colors on their tree like only red and green and you send a silver ornament that might clash with what they already have.

For example -
Brandi likes anything that is pink & frilly :) Her tree looks something like this -

Great idea. Although I just joined. Anyways, you guys could use this site:
www.elfster.com (http://www.elfster.com)
I have used it before for things like this. Everyone registered and whoever is in charge will pick a date for names to be drawn automatically. After names are drawn, each member finds out who they are buying for but don't know who is buying for them.
About the specific colors and styles preffered: This is perfect because you can make wish lists and write what your preferences are! Also, the giver can anonymously ask their reciever different questions to get an idea of what they like.
I think this site would work great for organizing this!:frogg:

This is an interesting site, thanks for sharing! We have done it all manually in the past and it can get overwhelming. We are having Levi work in something for us, but if he can't get it ready in time, we may look at using this site this time :)
