Well ladies, I have been married for over 1 month now. We have our ups and downs but all and all everything is perfect. The wedding was great, the honeymoon was even greater. lol. We first started our 15 day (wedding/honeymoon/vacation) in Atlanta, Ga. I had my Batcholarette party in Atlanta because some of my friends wasn't able to make it to the wedding in the Bahamas. We had a great time. My husband was just hanging out with his family and friends. Then our trip landed us in Fort Lauderdale, FL. We spent 2 nights in Fort Lauderdale. It was nice and relaxing. 25 guest meet us down in Fort Lauderdale to catch the cruise over to the Bahamas. We had a great time. We finally got to the Bahamas and the weather was perfect, the drinks was pouring and the ocean water was beautiful. The hotel allowed me to set up the reception the night before the wedding. This helped us out a lot. on time the next morning. Of course everything was going great until the day of the wedding. Come to find out, my dad wanted to look different so he left his linen outfit at home in New York and brought his own linen outfit. I was a little upset but it looked fine. Now, my family and friends are naturally late people. I had told everyone included my MOH, BM, MOB, and GM. That the wedding will be starting at 5pm. This really ment 5:30. So 5:15 came and I was all dressed and ready to head out. Everyone was in my room, so I was ready to head out to the ceremony. I get to the ceremony and we started lining up. My mother and little sister (BM) was no where to be found. My dad said he was going to run and find them. he came back empty handed. We had to start the wedding without my mother and little sister. half way through the ceremony my mother and sister shows up at 6:00. I was so caught up in the moment, I didn't pay it any attention. I wasn't going to let anyone mess up my wedding. We get to the recpeiton and my mother pulls me to the side and says, "didn't you say the wedding started at 6pm". My mother knew I lied about the start time of the wedding. What I told her was the recpetion started at 6pm when we was setting up the reception the night before. If you look close you can see the empty chair where my mother was going to set on the left. Other then that the wedding was great and everyone had a great time. Many of my guest said, "this was the best wedding they ever went too". That was the words I needed to hear. I worked so hard on this wedding and I was proud of the end results. My dad wearing his own linen outfit. It's funny, in almost every picture you can see people on the beach and balcony just looking at the ceremony. Some of them was even taking pictures. I felt like a movie star.
