I'm going with personalized soap favors. It was really hard making a decision, but as soon as I saw these soaps I fell in love with them. I'm going to give each guest a heart shaped soap, with our names and the date, it comes in an elegant sheer fabric bag. I love personalized items, and I wanted something unique and original. They were a little more than I wanted to spend, but I ended up getting a 15% discount which was wonderful. The company I used was www.soapsaysit.com

I would love to hear about other ideas.

I am not sure what we are doing yet. But I did come across a site that had shot glasses and the one I thought was cute and fit us was one that read

Went to Gwen & Nicholas' wedding and all I got was this lousy shot glass!

I would love to have these as favors. Every one would get a kick out of them. The other side of it would have our date on it.

Or something like that. I want to find something with find the cure on it. Both my grandmothers dies from cancer so I always donate every year but this way the money I spend on this favor will go right there. If anyone can think of something else with find the cure please let me know!:D

For the stamps on your invitations, if you can, you should use the Breast Cancer stamps...just a thought.

I am doing little origami boxes with m&ms in them. We have the boxes all folded! YAY!

Becky, I love the find a cure magnets. That's a great idea and a wonderful way to remember your grandmothers! We still aren't comletely sure on our favors although for one thing we want to make the chocolate lolliepops in the shape of leave. We can make them in orange, red and brown.

For favors, we are having little cards that have a poem on them with bells attached and everytime they want us to kiss, they have to ring the bell...it's kind of cute.

Wish us a love to last forever.
If you would like us to share
a wedded kiss,
ring the bell for lifelong bliss

My FH and I were just talking about these. We don't want to have people do this to us so we are going to get some bells and take the dinger out, figure out a cute little poem, something about not dinging your glasses and such please!! Then we will put them on the tables. I know if I don't do anything people will ding their glasses if they don't get bells so hopefully this will be a polite way of telling them our wishes.:D

Becky,
If you come up with anything for the poem, could you let me know! My brother/fiance are thinking about doing something like this for the tables. They are buying silver bells, and rather than announce it, they were trying to think of something to attach to them to let the quests know to ring the bell in order for the bride and groom to kiss!
Haven't been paying attention to well, but whoover posted this re-bells-GREAT IDEA!!!!!!:D

LOL! Actually I want to do the opposite. I'm taking the dinger out so people know we don't want them to do that. I haven't thought of a cute saying for it yet though. I just found an awesome website where you can type in what you are doing for favors and it will give you some sayings to use. It is great!! I am sure you will find something there that will work.

I couldn't either. That is why I went with my choice. It was easy and requires little more work than printing out the cards.

I posted this in my journal earlier but I'll put it here too.

My FMIL called and we were taking about favors and she brought up spring bulbs. I never thought about that. I think it will fit our theme perfectly. I want this whole wedding to reflect our personalities as much as possible too so this is perfect!:D I can't believe I can get this excited about bulbs!! LOL!!

As Lacey suggested in my journal, I am going to just wrap two bulbs in tulle or put them in a little bag and put a saying on it. I already found the saying I want to use. I tweaked it a little to work for us though.

Now if anyone thinks of a word that rhymes with bloom and fits this saying please let me know!:D

Here it is:

Thanks so much, every one of you
for joining us this day -
you've added to our happiness
in a very special way.

So as you plant these bulbs
and watch them grow and bloom,
may memories of our wedding day
forever fill your thoughts.

I bought Mini Bags at Michaels Arts and Crafts. I am going to decorate the bags with colored scrapbooking papers and put our names, the wedding date and a quote about planting seeds on the papers. Then I am going to fill the bags with flower seeds, and print the planting directions on the back!! If you are looking for quotes, search google!! Just enter what kind of quote you are looking for, and it will give you many websites to check out.
