Couple divorce after online 'affair'

A Bosnian couple are getting divorced after finding out they had been secretly chatting each other up online under fake names.

Sana Klaric, 27, and husband Adnan, 32, from Zenica, poured out their hearts to each other over their marriage troubles, and both felt they had found their real soul mate.

The couple met on an online chat forum while he was at work and she in an internet cafe, and started chatting under the names Sweetie and Prince of Joy.

They eventually decided to meet up - but there was no happy ending when they realised what had happened.

Now they are both filing for divorce - with each accusing the other of being unfaithful.

Sana said: "I thought I had found the love of my life. The way this Prince of Joy spoke to me, the things he wrote, the tenderness in every expression was something I had never had in my marriage.

"It was amazing, we seemed to be stuck in the same kind of miserable marriages - and how right that turned out to be.

"We arranged to meet outside a shop and both of us would be carrying a single rose so we would know the other.

"When I saw my husband there with the rose and it dawned on me what had happened I was shattered. I felt so betrayed. I was so angry."

Adnan said: "I was so happy to have found a woman who finally understood me. Then it turned out that I hadn't found anyone new at all.

"To be honest I still find it hard to believe that the person, Sweetie, who wrote such wonderful things to me on the internet, is actually the same woman I married and who has not said a nice word to me for years."

 That sucks!

But didn't they also see that they were really meant for each other? Sometimes people go outside of a relationship to find what their current one lacks...passion, understanding, attention. If they found what they were looking for, they should have realized they just need to TALK about it - sounds like they might actually have something there.

:bblol:

That cracks me up, though. Silly people.

I read a story a year or two ago where a boy was having an online relationship with a girl....and come to find out, it was his mother. Talk about HORRIFYING. He will NEVER live that down. Or look at his mother the same.

HAHhahahahahhaha!

Ohhh! That is good!

That is the craziest thing I have heard in a while! I mean ... it seems to me that they would want to work it out or something... strange!

Wow, well that is definately interesting...Not quite understanding the divorce though..I mean yeah they both betrayed eachother but they probably were both miserable...Wouldn't it make you wonder if you were in there shoes to think about what might be there to salvage in the marriage instead of running off and getting a divorce??

You would think that after that happening that they would realize that what they sadi on the internet could real work in life. If they just tired. This may work to their advantage if they wanted it to. I would love to hear the judge in this divorce case though. I bet he had to keep himself from laughing.

That just cracks me up. I agree with everything Tango said. Part of me thinks that they're rushing to file for divorce to defend themselves, though. To make them each seem like they were victims in this. They each stated their case and only had blame for their significant other. Don't they realize they're just as guilty?

Wow, that is pretty crazy, sort of funny though.

They both were in the wrong IMO to seek out others while still married, but it seems they still found each other. So in this case maybe they just need some cousiling. If they could get along that great online, then you would think they'd want to make their marriage work.

Wow ... you'd think that would help them bond - after all they got to discuss all their problems together, it's like couple's therapy ;)
And they fell in love all over again. It's really a shame they're not going to try to make it work.
