Samantha! Those are darling! What a great idea and I agree with the majority ... 2nd bow! Although, I am wondering how it would look without the bow...

Cute! What color theme is the wedding? Also, I'd consider adding yellow mums if it didn't clash with the theme, to bring out more of a fall tone.

How adorable. I love your colors so much, it's so rich. You're an amazing DIY bride. I agree that it looks too plain without the bow.

That's such a cute and original idea!

On the flowers, I'd recommend mixing them up a bit. Maybe add some orange flowers or accents to bring it together with the orangeness of the pumpkin. Right now they look like two separate entities. Then, to avoid the "too much orange" look, switch up the ribbon with a different color (maybe yellow or white).

Oh, what the hell. Let me photoshop what I'm trying to say... and upload it.

I actually prefer Bow 1 also but no one mentioned anything. I felt odd going against the grain for some reason. I thought about it and figured that the first bow seemed to distract attention from the flowers and pumpkin. It looked a little cluttered on top (maybe that's what the other member thought).

Twu managed to illustrate what I was trying to say about mums in a much more productive way, haha :D Marvelous.

*Steals this idea and runs with it*

Hey domeafavor - glad to know I'm not alone! :D

The reason I prefer 1 is because I like how the 'poufiness' of it fits in with the poufiness or shape of the flowers - collectively or one blossom on its own. They compliment each other (I would fluff up some of the loops on the bow a bit more to round it out). The single loop bow (#2) is fine as well, (although I wouldn't make the bow so wide) - but the straightness is using contrast to level out the bottom, and anchor the flowers. Its all personal preference. :)

Those are adorable. I saw some fall decorations earlier today that I thought were really cute. Are you planning on carving any pumpkins for your wedding. You could carve your monogram (if you have one) into pumpkins. It looked really cute.

You're a genius!!! That looked awesome. It would be nice to add in other colors to mix it up a bit! And i like the second bow better too by the way.
