Our news station has an anchor with the most beautiful dog you've ever seen. In August that dog, Jordan, passed away. And today..I finally read about his last 2 days....It's sad...but he lived a long loving life with his owner John. I just thought I'd share.

I can't read things like that without crying. It makes me wonder what the heck I'll do if anything ever happens to either one of my babies. I really don't know how I'll be able to deal with it.

He sounds like a fantastic dog though. I'm so sorry for your anchor's loss.

When I read it tears were streaming down my face.....thank goodness everyone was out to lunch. The dog really was a sweet dog. He use to follow me to my desk and sit with me.....I kinda miss that.

Oh my...I shouldn't have opened that at work...I only got about half way through and I'm already in tears...I have a lab that looks just like him.

Jordan was a big part of Vegas...John always brought him to work and he'd be on tv and stuff...so I found out that Friday that he was not going to make it through the weekend.....

I was sad and felt so bad for John......I didn't know what to do.

I called my mother who watches the news just because of him. She has a lot of medical problems so Jordan lifted her spirits somewhat...I figured I should be the one to tell her that instead of her hearing it on the news...I told her and she broke down crying...

They had the funeral the following Friday and nearly 300 people showed up. It was massive. Everyone loved Jordan...

That's incredibly amazing how a dog could leave such a huge legacy behind and inspire and touch so many people. There aren't many pets like that.

oh gosh I should not have read that at work. I am SOBBING! That is the saddest story ever. I hate reading stuff like that.
What a sweet sweet dog he had. It sounds like he was a great friend. Thanks for sharing.
