Well, I am back and Gwen and Nicholas are officially married!! It went beautiful...They held it indoors and it was just gorgeous. I got into Calais at about one this afternoon and caught her just in time to go with her to get her hair done....Now, I am only posting a few teasers for you all...Gwen will have to post more when she gets here:

Those are your teasers!! It was a beautiful day and Gwen was to die for...

She started to cry during the ceremony and I had to tell her to cut it out because she was going to make me cry.

Tom Tom was actually pretty well behaved, although at one point, he came running out of the bathroom with absolutely no pants on..just his bare butt!! And speaking of pants......Nick almost lost his...but I'll let Gwen tell you of that one...

Oh and I caught the bouquet....which means I had a garter put on me....:bbredface: The worst part, was I forgot to shave this morning and even though I thought he would just go over my pants with the garter...he went under them... It was a good time though! When I left, they were all dancing...

Thank You Lizabeth for posting those pictures. Those were awsome ones. And thank you for being here. It was great to spend that time with you before the ceremony.

I did have a great time. I have a few pictures of us dancing, like doing the YMCA. We also did the chicken dance. That was fun lol.

We got to have some pictures outside. I think those are going to be great pictures. I wont be able to see them for about 2 weeks but I will give you all the pass wod so you can see them once they are on line.

I did end up going to the bar afterwards and every one changed except me. I wore my wedding dress. I got alot of people saying congrats to me and some asking did you just get married. Ummm no I just wanted to wear my dress out to the bar lol. Nicholas changed his pants into jeans. He wore the shirt and vest and tie though. **** he looked good then too.

We got the the hotel about 1 am. We talked for a little while and we didnt sleep untill almost 3. Then up at 9 this morning. We had to send alot of the wedding stuff back home with some friends as we cant fit it all in our car.

During the ceremony and the reception we had some tears. As Lizabeth said I cried during my vows, then I cried while dancing with my mom and Nicholas and his mom cried during their song.

We didnt have alot of people there but the ones who were mattered. We had alot more card then people were there. Alot sent cards with ones who came. We made out pretty good. The DJ got paid. LOL

We are about to go get what I have for pictures on my camera printed off and onto a disk. I dont have alot of the ceremony naturaly but every one else does. My MIL had a video camera going the whole time. Even for the chicken dance. And I have the sweetest picture of my son asleep on my sisters step son lap. And I beleive one of my nephew on the table looking att he cake top on top of our cake after it was packed up. It was so cute.

I have to run now people are waiting for me. I will fill you in with more detail when I get home in a couple of days.

Glad it all went well and most importantly that u enjoyed urself lol I keep leaving out a great sigh of relief when yet another wedding goes off more or less to plan lol Dread to think when mine comes along! As you can see my DJ joined us at the bar afterwards. We had a blast. I know there is not many but I have lots more and I will get to them. I have some greats ones of my kids and a family photo. But it is late and I have my first full day of work tomorrow. I only had to work 4 hours today. Not bad for my first day back.

I will get more on tomorrow I hope and my other photos should be on line some time this week. When they are I will let you all know and give you the link and password. I can't wait to see them. We were able to get some outside so they should be nice. I CAN'T wait. I am checking every day lol.

I had details to my day all typed up but something messed up so when I get the time to do that again I will. I was wanting the pictures first. Hope you enjoyed and many more to come so keep a watch out for them lol.

I am glad the plannigng part and the waiting part is over. But the day went by way too fast. I would have loved to have it last a little longer. But I did enjoy every second of it. I would nto have chagned a thing. Except maybe that piece of hair in the front that didnt stay as it should have lol.

Friday started pretty good. We lazed around in the morning, my sister went and got dunkin donuts for every one. The wedding was moved to the hall because even if it didnt rain the ground was soaked from all the rain we had had already. About 10 I'd say we headed to the hall to decorate. We were there all day. It went realy well. After a trip to the store only once. My BIL was cooking the lasagna also. So after the decorating we all tasted it. It was yummy.

Then we headed out to my sisters to have my brothers 16 birthday party. And then the rehersal was at 6:30

Lizabeth showed up just after 6 if I remember right and then Nicholas family got to my sisters place. We all piled into vehicles and headed over to the hall. We did a couuple of run throughs. My dauther did not want anything to do with walking in. She was in tears. I told her all she had to do was walk straight to the girls, she loves all of them ( my brides maids that is ) and after grammie walks me in you can sit with her. I think she was upset that her cousin was going to be throwing petals and she wasn't. After a couple of trial runs Nicholas and I went our seperate ways. I told him he didnt have to leave me yet. But his family wanted him to go to dinner. I told him he could call me and his grandmother said no you two dont see or speak again untill your under that arch. When I walked out side he was still there and his mother put her hands over his eyes. She said your rules he cant see you. I kissed him and told him I loved him. He went to dinner and felt bad because they all had lobster and he knew I wnated one real bad. I told him he could have stole me for dinner.

I went back to my sisters house and we girls and my BIL had a few drinks. My BIL got a manicure and was dancing for us. I was missing Nichoals as this was only the 2nd night in a year and a half that we spent apart. Sounds foolish I know but I hate being away from him. Suzie, my friend from Australia and also a brides maid took my brother and my car and my BIL cell phone to the hotel where Nicholas was staying with him family. they called him out of the room and handed him the phone the number already dialed. We talked for a few mins and we were both realy missing each other.

I talked to Suzie alot just me and her that night ( she is just as good of freinds with Nicholas as she is me ) abotu Nicholas and all we have been through to be where we are today and what not. And I cried and thanked her for doing so much for us. She is an amazing friend.


the wedding day next

I got up Saturday morning about 9 and whe nI say up I mean I was awake just not up and about yet. Not like I could be alone. I shared an air matress with on eof my girl friends in the living room of my sisters place. My brother was on the futon and my other friend on the couch. And with 4 kids in the house ther ewas no way of sleeping in at all.

The first thing I had to do was go to the next town with my mom to pick up my flowers by 10. So I got to spend time with just my mom that morning. We went and for the bouquets for me and my daughter and the guys bouts. Then i was gonna have to go back to get coursages for Nicholas mom and grandmother. ( I picked up one for my mom on the way out of town the day headed up to Maine ) Then we went to the grocery store and bought 3 different bouquets of wild flowers to make the girls bouquets with and one for me to throw.

When we got back to my sisters I showed my daughter her bouquet and every one made a huge fuss over it. Telling her how pretty it was and it wasnt fair they didnt have one. I think that won her over because she was great the rest of the day.

I had just enough time to jump in the shower and waqsh my hair before heaed back out of town for my autn to do mine and my daughters hair. My sister did her own and the other girls at her house. I got half way out of town and realized I didnt have my veil or tiara or the picture I wanted to go by. So I turned around and headed back. Just as I pulle din Lizabeth pulled it behind me and so she came with me. My apt. was at one but I was hoping to be there early as she had me and Jessa to do and it is about 15 to 20 mins away. I got there at one and she go tme taken care of. During getting my hair done the girl who was comeing from NH with my cake that she offered to make called and didnt realize she was still an house and a half away. And she had lost some of the cakes. The box they were in got crushed. I told her not to worry as there was not going to be many people there any way.

As my daughter sat to get her hair done Lizabeth and I ran to pick up the coursages I had to get. And grab a snack for my daughter cause she was hungry. I grabbed me a bag of chips and a soda but I thin I only ate a couple of them. The first thing I had eaten all day.

We get back to get my daughter and head back to town. Got a call that all the girls are at the hall so I went right there. All the way there I kept saying I hope they remembered this I hope they got that. 5 mins. later I would think of somethign else I hope they got. Because I was not there to make she every thing got to the hall.


It was now 3:00 as we arrived at the hall. One hour to go. The DJ is not at the all yet. He gets there about 3:10. I made the changed I needed to with him. The photograperh is already there. All the girls are dressed and helping each other and the kids. Before I know it my daughter is already in her dress. I dont even know who got her ready. I told Nihcolas not to be at the hall any earlier then 3:30. So about 3:25 I head to the rest room. My dress is there and I get into my under clothes. As I am standing there eveyr oen is coming to the door. If ya looked at my pictures you would see that it took all 3 girls to get me into my dress. Then I hear Nicholas is here so dont come out. Then a few mins later I hear the cake has arrived so I dont even get a look at it untill we go to eat it.

Where the rest room is that I was getting ready in ther eis a hall way to the hall. Every oen started telling Nicholas to get away from the entrance. We had to head down stairs into the bar and up the front stairs to com ein the door I wanted to come through.

The only reason it did not start on time was because the only thing that got left at the house was the video camera I borrowed from a freind who couldnt make it. They were back before we lined up for the ceremony but couldnt get it figured out. Finaly about 4:10 or so we got started. My uncle Jimmy was still able to play the bag pipes to walk into.

The kids did great. Even my 2 1/2 yr old nephew who was my ring bearer. He didnt carry anythign but that was fine with me. My daughter even stood for the ceremony. She didnt want to sit with grammie.

My mom gave me away and she told me later that she had never felt so special before.

The ceremony was beautiful. The sand ceremony went off great. The kids were great. It was so cute. I am so glad I put that in there.

I cried and Nihcolas wiped the tears away. He is so sweet.

My sister did a reading. I loved it. I gave it to her. I posted it once I will try to find it again.

I had told him I didnt want some little tiny peck for a kiss. He said no way. We had a long deep kiss and some one yelled for us to get a room. I loved it.

We then walked out and outside wtih out the kids to have pictures taken.

Then inside for some more pictures.

Then the reception started and we were annouced at Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas.

My BIL did the toast in favor of my brother who was too shy to do it. He jsut turned 16 and he was the best man for Nicholas. He did an awsome job.

We ate and drank and danced. Nicholas lost his pants lol, almost. I made him stay on the dance floor for an extra song. I dedacated Can I have this Dance by Anne Murray before he leftt he dance floor from our first song.

I danced with my om and she didnt even hear the words to the songs she said untill it got to the nursing home part. ( she had just lost her dad who spent his last days in a nursing home and my mom was there every day ). It his hard but she loved it. Nicholas danced with him mom and she cried and held his pants up for him lol. She told him she was gonna get him for this lol.

We opted out of the wedding party dance and instead danced with our kids. We had Kenny Rogers Through the Years. Jessa had foam stickers all over and Dean was half asleep. But I loved it any ways.

And then you would think that was the end and the dancing was going to start but I ad dedacated a song to my mom. Actauly from my sister and I. A song that just reminds me and my sister of my mom. She has always loved this band and this song and it just takes us back to when it was the 3 of us. So the DJ annoused this to my mom and we called her out. He played kiss' Heavens on Fire. Mom loved it. And it was just my om my sister and I on the dance floor. Nicholas had said later on that eveyr one just sat back and let us have our moment.

Alot of the guest ( what few were there ) left before the dances even started. I dont care. The ones who were still there were the ones that mattered. And we had a blast. My sister had the placed cleaned up and we ended the reception at 8:30.

We headed to my sisters place, the DJ joined us. We opened a few cards before heading to the bar. I wore my dress and Nicholas changed our of his dress pants and into his jeans on with his shirt and vest. He looked so hansome. That one picture is one of my favorites of him.

We went to the bar and had so many peopel ask if we just got married. UUMM NO I always dress up like this to go our to the bar.

After hitting 2 bars and one of my brides maids getting a little too drunk we headed back to my sisters. Nicholas and I headed out ahead of the rest of them and got our stuff to head to the hotel.

I couldnt find the key any where. So I had Nicholas go in and ask the guy at the desk, and mind you it is now 1 am, if it was ok that he let us in. Every one in town knows my sister and her family so it was not a problem. they got us the room as a gift to us.

We hung out the day after just the 2 of us for a while. We went shopping at of all places Wal- Mart lol . But there is no where else to go back home. Then we went to the truck stop for lunch before heading back to the kids.

We hung around with my family untill Tuesday. We headed home and did some shopping at malls on the way.

On that Saturday my friend and brides maid came back down and we all went to Bike Week. We spent all day there. We spent more money and I got sun burned. But we had a blast.

Then back to work on Monday.


I think the only thing I might have changed is being able to go away for week. But it was ok. We had a good time.

I love that picture of the bottles. We are going to get that picture on a mouse pad. We HAVE to have it. We did have a great photographer. She was awsome. Yeah I finaly got the picture of me getting Nicholas with the cake. ANd the picture where it looks lke I am choling him I was actauly going in for a kiss. I was reaching for him when she took the picture and because of her angle it just appears I was going to choke him lol. Funny though I liked it.
