Cute! What did you make your boxes out of?

I made the box template in word and I had a bunch of 110lb paper sitting around and just printed and cut them out. The "box" only has 3 sides and the bottom is fabric. Then I got some fabric (it was like $2 a yard and for 50 boxes I used less than 1 square yard) drew the outside template and cut the fabric and glued it to the paper and decorated with glued on yarn.

If anyone wants the box templates just pm me and I'll email them to you.

Wow! That's a neat idea. It was hard to tell at first what that was, but now I see. Fun!

Firespirit, how did you do the luggage tags? did you make them yourself or from a kit of some type? I have been looking at luggage tags already made, but they are so expensive. I only need about 50 but it would be a crazy amount of money!! Would you mind sharing?

mtigercat,

I bought some PVC blank ID cards and then Avery permanent ID labels (they are just slightly smaller than the PVC cards). I used a standard hole punch to make the hole.

I'm stuck at the airport at the moment. If you are interested, I still have a whole bunch of the clear straps left and I think at least 50 of the cards. PM me and I can check what I have left when I get home, if you are interested in buying what I have left over.

I am thinking about making luggage tags as well. Where did you purchase your supplies? (Straps & ID cards)

I don't remember exactly I think I got them from http://idcardgroup.com/ but I'm not positive on that. I searched the web a lot until i could find the best deal.
