This doesn't have much to do with weddings, just an answered prayer! I have to share the great news with someone!!! :D

I found out a few months ago that the company I've worked at for over 5 years is relocating next Spring, right before my wedding. I was heartbroken and actually canceled our wedding for a while because I didn't want the stress of a wedding and the stress of finding a new job all at the same time. My fiance and I just moved in together last year and we need two steady incomes...I've been soooo worried about it, but I decided to go through with the wedding anyway and leave the rest up to fate!

Well today my prayers have been answered! My boss called to tell me that the company who bought us is creating a work-at-home job (making more money!) that I would be perfect for and they already have me in mind. All of the details haven't been worked out yet, but I would probably start before the end of the year! I am so excited right now and I hope it works out. I've been searching for a work-at-home job for months now! Good paying jobs are scarce in this area and I just can't believe this! And they already know about my wedding and are willing to give me time off for it.

I'm so happy - now I won't be bummed out on my wedding day! :D

I know exactly how you feel earlybird! It's such a stressful thing! This was my first real job, right out of high school, so finding a new one was just terrifying to me! So definitely don't give up hope - something will come along! ;)

Congrats! I've looked for work-at-home jobs a bunch, but I think most of them are scams...they want you to pay to start up. What is it you'll be doing? If you don't mind me asking.

Oh yeah...a ton of scams! I've been looking for a while too! That's why I was so happy this one opened up with the company I already work for!

All of the details of this job haven't been explained to me... The company i work for was bought out by a big corporation that owns a lot of other big businesses. So during this merge for the most part I'll just be inputting project information into some kind of new software program, keeping everyone in the loop as to what is going on. There will also be some admin. work, and putting together training packets and materials for certain groups within the company. It sounds a lot more challenging than my current job. So that's a blessing because I've been really bored with my current position lately. So we'll see how it goes!

that is wonderful news. congrats and i hope everything works out. i work from home and love it. course it is my own business but none the less it's perfect. As someone else has already said "sometimes it is nice to work in your pj's, but sometimes you just gotta get out of them.". . lol. noon is usually a good time for me.
