Has anyone else heard this? It is a huge news story here in Vermont (WE are bored here) How silly she sounds!

Wow...I think I may have lost a few brain cells trying to figure that one out, haha. Its gotta be nervewracking standing up in front of a bunch of people though...

She didn't win....but she DID get in the top 4. That's bad enough.

She was on the Today show this morning. I just keep shaking my head. :bblol:

She def. should not have gotten in the top 4. That just goes to show that they aren't really looking for the "whole" package. I feel bad for her but it should have been the judges resp. to make sure she didn't go through.

Someone posted that on myspace last night and I watched it. How terrible! I'd be a nervous wreck, no doubt, but her answer was just horrific! The question was strictly regarding the U.S. and she started talking about Iraq and Africa or whatever. Poor girl!

i feel sorry for her. it has to be so hard to answer questions like that on the spot. more than likely (or should i say obviously) she forgot the question after she started trying to answer it.

Ok girls.... as a former Miss Georgia - I gotta say, it is nervewracking and very intimidating - BUT - I mean ... COME ON!!!! I did feel bad for her b/c she is so young and I saw the interview of her on the Today show and I REALLY felt her b/c she was so obviously embarrassed and then went on to continuously apologize for her mistake... Bless her heart! Then again, you DON'T go to a pageant of that caliber and NOT know how to answer an onstage question! There are coaches out there who should have prepared her better and let me say this --- the answer to ANY question of that nature, "How can we better this..." "How can we ensure this doesn't happen..." Any well trained pageant girl knows to lean on the ole "Education is the solution" speech! But I had to admit - I laughed and laughed and laughed some more! But I do feel for her!
