Quick Question

There is some bad thundering going on here and FH took the car and told me I was staying home today from work....what the hell do I tell my boss? lol I've been at my job for 96 days and have called in 2 times already. :(

Truthfully, I would be pissed. That's not a good enough reason to be staying home and he shouldn't have taken it upon himself to make up your mind whether or not you were going to work. I think I would tell a white lie and say you are feeling well.

He only did it because it's raining really hard and doesn't want anything to happen to me. I usually take him to work come back home get ready, go to work and pick him up when he's done.......

This weekend I haven't been feeling the greatest but not sick to the point of missing work.

It shows he cares...but still.....I don't like lieing! lol

No, he knows I hate driving in the rain---like dread it, so he said why don't you stay home since you're not feeling well anyways. We have flash flooding, streets are flooded and major accidents all over. We never get rain here, it's a rare thing when we do, but when do it gets bad, and today it's one of the worst ones.

So don't lie...just...fudge the truth a little. Tell the boss that the streets are getting a lot of water where you live and you weren't sure you could make it out.

I will most likely tell him I'm not feeling that great which is semi the truth....major cramps...all morning. Though I don't know if my male boss would like to hear that...so I'm just gonna say today, I can't make it........and see what he says.

The cool thing about my work is if I call in they technically are not allowed to ask me why.....they just have to accept it. lol I just called in and said I was having some girlie issues...which I am having major cramps. I was told to get meds. and ice cream and watch movies. I'll bake them cookies and they'll be good! :)
